Overall great experience. Issues with the vehicle were dealt with in a timely manner and the only issue for the dealership I saw was space and cleanliness. THe salesperson I worked with was great, he went above & beyond what I expected from a car salesman. He was very friendly and accomodating. On the other hand, working with the internet salespeople is a C & beyond what I expected from a car salesman. He was very friendly and accomodating. On the other hand, working with the internet salespeople is a COMPLETE WASTE OF TIME. I was moving to Raleigh from a different state, and wanted to get some of the work done in advance so that I wouldn't have to spend 3 hours at the dealership to pick up my car. So I filled out an application online & had numerous conversations with one of their internet sales coordinators going over what I wanted. All that in-advance work was useless - on the day I came in, I ended up having to do everything all over again and spent not 3, but EIGHT hours in the dealership because this person had relayed the wrong information both ways. I suppose if you have a lot of time to waste that's okay. But for the rest of us with busy lives, I say stick to working with the real sales people. More
When I went to the dealer I was really just in the information gathering step of my new car search and wanted to look at the Civic. I had already looked at the Ford Focus, Kia Forte, Chevy Cruze, and information gathering step of my new car search and wanted to look at the Civic. I had already looked at the Ford Focus, Kia Forte, Chevy Cruze, and Toyota Corolla and at this point was leaning toward the Focus. In fact, if Leith Ford had a Focus available, I would have bought that instead. I'm very glad I didn't. Jeff took me on a 30 minute test drive where I got to experience all types of driving conditions. The more I drove the car, the more I fell in love with it and decided I was done looking and was ready to buy. The negotiation process was very straightforward and Jeff did not have to get up every 5 minutes to talk to the sales manager. Everything was done through instant messaging on the computer. All of the additional fees were lumped into one $398 charge which the sales manager would not budge on. There were no other hidden fees they tried to add at the end. There was no pressure to buy the extended warranty or interior/exterior protection. The only reason I give a '4' for Quality of Work was because I had to wait around 20 minutes to speak to a salesperson and that the detail department had already closed by the time I closed my deal so I have to bring the car back to be detailed. But all in all I feel like I got a great car for a great price with great financing. I will definitely go back to Leith Honda the next time I am looking for a car. More
