I had the worst experience at Leith Volkswagen of Cary. I made an appointment to view an Atlas in advance as my family and I were driving over an hour away and I wanted to make sure the vehicle was in stock made an appointment to view an Atlas in advance as my family and I were driving over an hour away and I wanted to make sure the vehicle was in stock for me to drive. I got checked into my appointment and confirmed with the sales person, Cameron Harris, which car I wanted to look out. He went out and came back and let me know they didn't have the car I wanted even though I made an appointment in advance. I confirmed that I was here to see an Atlas and he realized he was out looking for the wrong car. My husband and I both test drove the car. The test drove went fine, nothing special. I liked the car. He directed the financing information toward my husband, even though I would be trading in my car so that I could get a new car and I would ultimately be the one making a payment. It wasn't an experience worth writing home about. We test drove some other cars in the area and I purchased a different vehicle later that day. What sent me over the edge to write a review (and I don't write reviews for anything) came after the initial test drive. Cameron followed up almost a month after my test drive (he was the latest out of all the dealerships I had contacted in following up). I let him know that I had purchased a different vehicle and he asked me "if I had wrecked it yet." I was so flabbergasted. I did not know what to say and quickly got off the phone. To make matters worse, he apparently made zero notes about that phone conversation and me saying that I had already purchased a car, that he followed up with me again another month later. I reminded him of our previous conversation and what he had said and let him know that I would not now, nor would I in the future be interested in buying a car from him after my experience. More
