Wonderful service, and we got a great deal! Karen was very patient, personable, and helpful. She walked us through each step of the process, and we had a great time just chatting with her while waiting f very patient, personable, and helpful. We wanted to visit a couple more dealers, but he made us a great offer we couldn't pass up. David was quick and to-the-point, as we were almost late for a dinner reservation. He probably worked past closing time to help us, but was very kind and did not seem anxious to leave. Lots of good things to say about this dealer. More

When I arrived at the Toms River dealership everyone was very pleasant again no pressure. My sales man John was very very nice. Explained all my options showed me different things about different models I was unaware of. My son and I purchased a 2012 Accent end of May 2012. In the middle of October he was hit in the side by another vehicle. By the time the insurance adjuster's had been out to see it Hurricane Sandy had hit the middle of October he was hit in the side by another vehicle. By the time the insurance adjuster's had been out to see it Hurricane Sandy had hit and when I finally after several attempts and leaving messages that were never returned our appointment did not occur until Decemeber 26, 2012. We dropped the car off at the scheduled appointment (an appointment given to me by the scheduler) only to find out that we would have to wait for them to find someone to take us to the Rental Hub because everyone was at lunch. Needing a rental car was discussed when the appoinmtent was made. Dan, the body shop manager ended up having to give us a ride to the rental hub and promised to call me on Friday with an update on the car. That phone call never came. I also informed them at that time that I would be leaving on an 8 day business trip on January 17th and asked if the car could be finished by them, with my understanding that it may not happen, but they would let me know. On Tuesday, January 8th, I left a message (voicemail) requesting an update on the car, on Wednesday the 9th, I left my name with Toni and on Thursday the 10th, I called and asked to speak to Dan. He informed me that it probably would not be ready before I left on the 17th due to there being more than just surface damage to the door and frame. OK so off I go on my business trip and I am gone until January 25th. On January 26th I receive a phone call from Tom that my car was ready. Great! Finally! I called my son and we went to the Rental Hub and dropped off the car. We were the first customers in the door when another customer came in behind us (who happened to work at the Manahawkin Lester Glenn). When we were finally given a ride back, we FIRST had to drop off the other customer who had come in behind us at the Mazda dealer before we were taken to the body shop. When I tried to tell the driver that he was missing our exit off of the parkway he said no, we need to take 37 East to go 37 W when it would have been easier and a much shorter time frame to take the 37W exit. When we are dropped off, we tell them we are there to pick up our car, we fill out the paperwork, write the check for the deductible when Walter comes out and asked "Who told you your car was ready?" When I said Tom, he said "Tom who?" What the heck???? Tom from Lester Glenn called and said the car was ready. Well it wasn't ready, Tom from the service department and Walter from the body shop must not have comminicated very well, because we were there to pick up a car that wasn't ready to go. Walter had to take us back to the Rental Hub and promised to call me on Monday-no call! Can't say that I am surprised. After receiving excellent service when the car was sold to us in Manahawkin, I am very disappointed and will never use this body shop again. This department needs help! More
I've dealt with many car dealers through the years and Art Padula did everything in his power to accommodate my needs without applying pressure and making me feel uncomfortable. What a great experience. My husband was away on a business trip and said to go check out and test drive cars that I may want to lease. He was very professional and took my situation into consideration. He helped me find a car that was perfect for me; one that was affordable yet also satisfied the characteristics I wanted in my new car. I also advised him that I needed to be out by a certain time in order to be home for my son, and he ensured that I was all set to go so that I could be home right on time. Throughout the whole day, he talked me through all of my options and he kept trying his hardest to accommodate my price range as well as my wants in a new car. I would definitely recommend him to my family and friends if they are looking for a sales man who has their best interests in mind. Came here from Brooklyn, NY based on top notch reviews on dealer-rater and conversations with Elyse; was not disappointed. I planned a trip through a few dealerships in Toms River and was thinking about get dealer-rater and conversations with Elyse; was not disappointed. I planned a trip through a few dealerships in Toms River and was thinking about getting a lease on '13 Hyundai Santa Fe or '12 Toyota Venza, or 12/13 Subaru hatchback. I was planning on hitting Tom River first, getting a few good offers and then heading to Freehold to hit FCH Toyota on the way back home. Not sure what transpired, but this place ruined my plans (in a good way!). Augie was my sales representative. He was very patient and knowledgeable. There didn't seem to be any uncomfortable sales pressure that I experienced directly and indirectly in New York City dealerships (was looking for a Kia and Subaru earlier on). Test drive went exceptionally smoothly and I enjoyed the car way more than I expected. Hyundai is surprisingly a lot of bang for your buck. I then decided to get the offer, but wasn't quite sure if I was really prepared to take it - afterall I haven't visited any other places on my list yet! Long story short, we were able to settle on a fairly good price as far as I was concerned and I decided to proceed. The numbers simply didn't add up for me to visit any more places (I.e. perhaps I could have saved a tiny bit had I wasted a ton of nerves and most importantly time in multitudes of other places, but the math simply didn't warrant that). Good job, Augie, you were great; answered every question. Also, special thanks to Frank for helping seal the deal with friendly, no-drama, direct approach. Also, David is a number crunching machine! Overall, a wonderful experience. More
I went to Lester Glenn to look at Hyundai Tuscons. I found one that I loved, but didn't think I would be able to afford the payments. Tina and her manager-not sure of his name, but also great. They were able to give me a payment I could afford. The finance gentleman, I believe was Chris Hardick was also great. I left the dealership with the vehicle I wanted at a payment I could afford.
