Lexus Escondido

Coolant leak started while Rx 330 at the dealership. I brought my Rx 330 in for a routine maintenance. Nothing wrong with the car. NOTHING! It has 60,000+ miles on it. The service advisor, Matt Coleman, told me it had a coolant leak ... two coolant leaks! It would be $2,500 to make the repairs. I bought the car new. Have parked it in my garage for 7 years. IN THE EXACT SAME SPOT FOR SEVEN YEARS. My garage floor is immaculate, not a drop of anything on the garage floor. On the phone I told Matt to leave the car alone. It was impossible. IMPOSSIBLE! I picked up my Rx, drove it home, parked in my garage, and the coolant was gushing out all over the floor! The pressure test that they performed on the system surely caused the leaks. But I have no proof as my garage floor is covered in red coolant now. I would expect this kind of thing from a small garage, but never ever from a Lexus dealership. I will need to repair the leaks NOW! My plan was, as I told Matt, was to keep the car until the 2016 models were out. While Lexus Escondido still had my car, minutes after speaking to Matt on the phone, I received a call from a saleswoman telling me she'd give me a good deal on a trade. I could not believe this was happening. I have owned a Lexus for 15 years. I have never had anything like this ever happen before. It's been weeks since the incident, and I am still in shock. More

Poor Customer Service I went to Matt for a routine mileage check up and he seemed a little out of place. I went into to Lexus Escondido to have my brake light replaced. I was given a quote of $65. Once they had the light opened up, the service person came to tell me it would be $570 because they has to repl replaced. I was given a quote of $65. I was taken aback and decided to take the car somewhere else for an estimate. Long story short, I had it fixed for $170. This is the 2nd time they tried to take advantage of me at this dealership. Don't get taken in my these insane prices. Do your homework and you can save $100s. More

He never pressured me or played any games, I made an offer he got the deal I needed to make and within 2 hours I was driving out with my RX350. The whole team was great and came to introduce themselves. When I left I knew that I would never buy another Lexus from any other dealership .this is my 3rd Lexus and it was "red carpet" service. I have dealt with Thomas twice, first for the instillation of a quick shifter for my 2008 IS 250. While I was there he looked up my vin and told me that I had a recall that had yet to be done, an instillation of a quick shifter for my 2008 IS 250. While I was there he looked up my vin and told me that I had a recall that had yet to be done, and he said he could get it done at the same time. What great customer service, when I went to Lexus of San Diego, he said I had to wait till I got the letter in the mail for the recall, since the previous owner had not got the recall service performed. On the second visit, I have been experiencing excessive brake dust, and when I called and complained he told me to come in the next day and they would get it done. So far amazing experience at Lexus of Escondido. I would definitely recommend. Also the dealership is beautiful, the entire floor is marble, it is definitely a no expenses spared dealership. More
