Service dept Orland Park Lexus is always clean and waiting area is almost comfy, but with lack of reading material for women almost non-existing, not even a newspa Orland Park Lexus is always clean and waiting area is almost comfy, but with lack of reading material for women almost non-existing, not even a newspaper makes it boring when waiting for completed service. My recent time there was going to be at least 2 hours (new front brakes and pads as recommended by service dept 4 weeks earlier), so I asked for a loaner car. My 1pm appt. was on a hot July Wednesday. I pulled into service area at 1pm. While waiting for a service consultant (10 minutes) the staff seemed shorthanded. My usual service guy was not there. I found out later he no longer works there. Tony was with another client I think, so I had to wait which normally I do not . There was no offer of water until I had to ask for when service was completed and I returned the loaner. My RX 350 is 7 years old with 76,000 miles. I have always had the required service when recommended by Lexus so I have been there at least 2 times a year. This recent time there did not seem the same as in the past (except for the lack of reading material). The staff didn't seem as friendly this time. Maybe we all were having an off day. I hope next appt is better. I rely on your "peace of mind" program. More
