Lexus of Brooklyn responded

I reviewed Mr. Chen’s concerns’ regarding his 2004 Lexus RX which came into our service department on June 6th 2012. Our technician did not discover the cause of this noise however he did note that these were aftermarket brake pads which Mr. Chen said he installed himself. While it is unfortunate that the brake shoe came off we did not see any problem during the diagnosing of the vehicle. We did charge Mr. Chen one hour in labor which I have agreed to refund to him as a courtesy. I also apologized to him for his inconvenience. While reviewing Mr. Chen’s concern I also noticed that he has been to our dealership several times prior to this June 6th visit and he felt comfortable enough to return to us. We hope Mr. Chen will reconsider how he feels about Bay Ridge Lexus and hope he will consider Lexus for his future automotive needs. Eugene Woods General Manager Bay Ridge Lexus
