A horrible over 4 hour experience. After confirming the listed price was $21,900 for the used ford edge, that was repaired from a previous accident . The salesman still tried charging After confirming the listed price was $21,900 for the used ford edge, that was repaired from a previous accident . The salesman still tried charging me $4,000 in extras; such as nitrogen they claimed to have used to inflate the tires, edge guards, cup holder protectors (cup holder protectors?!) and some fancy clear coat. I’m told these extras are already part of the car. They’ve already been now installed on the used car and can’t be removed. It was upsetting, I requested the original advertised sale price or I’d leave, then he said he would go talk to his manager. He returns and now says he can remove the additional $4,000 in charges. On the way home, the urgent low tire pressure light comes on the dashboard. All the tires were 10 pounds under pressure and I discovered there were no signs of nitrogen gas used in the previous inflation of the tires. Then I find out after changing batteries and many attempts to reprogram the second key fob that the key fob doesn’t even belong to my vehicle. That costed me another $422 to discover and replace the key fob. Next day, I get an email from the dealership thanking me for scheduling an appointment 6 months later. I didn’t schedule this and I’m told it’s “just protocol and I can ignore it.”…Weird. More
Ben is outstanding - this is my first Lexus and he patiently helped determine the best model and features for me and weeks later let me know of an upcoming RX trade in that was perfect. Ben was very friendly and helpful but there were a few items that slipped. One of the key Fobs has a dead battery. That should have been checked before the closing of the deal. Again details that should have been checked. Beyond that, Ben and Lexus did a good job, but not perfect. More
