Lexus of Northborough services my LS460L. I also own an F150 pickup for my hobby farm. The truck needed tires, and would not pass inspection, so I started calling around for quotes. Ca I also own an F150 pickup for my hobby farm. The truck needed tires, and would not pass inspection, so I started calling around for quotes. Called one of the discount places. They quoted $850, and pushed me to book an appointment. I asked if that included mounting and balancing? Nope. $40 per tire. Valve stems? $10 per tire. Disposal fee? $30 per tire. Any other charges? After hemming and hawing, there was an environmental fee, a shop supplies fee, and a mandatory alignment. Lexus did the job for a fair price, and everything was included in the initial quote. And they didn't try to include one solitary add on to boost their prices. And the alignment? They looked at the tires, and said they wore evenly, so it wasn't needed. They have never tried to do any work that wasn't absolutely necessary. More
