For the first time since 2009 when I bought my first Lexus I had a very unpleasant experience with the Service Dept. I brought my 2014 Lexus IS350 to due to an issue with the battery and no sound from t Lexus I had a very unpleasant experience with the Service Dept. I brought my 2014 Lexus IS350 to due to an issue with the battery and no sound from the car system. I got a called from the Service Agent (Carlos) letting me know that the battery needed to change and that the cost was $212. I asked Carlos what about the sound system issue and he replied that without a new battery the service team could not check the sound system. This to me is horrible service! It’s horrible service because I should not have the need to purchase a new battery in order to check the lack of sound from the car hi-fidelity system. I did not purchase the battery from Lexus. I went to Advance Auto parts and bought a very good battery with a 3 year replacement warranty for $140.00 with installation. What really infuriates me is that now I need to go back to the dealer so that the service dept. checks the reason for the lack of sound of the radio. A real waste of time! This is why I’m extremely disappointed with the service I received from Carlos. My assigned Service rep is John Steigele who is a great service agent. Carlos is looking out for himself and how much money he can generate from a customer’s visit, instead of resolving the customer’s issue. I hope that when I go back to find out the issue with my car stereo, I don’t have to deal with Carlos. Respectfully yours, Mr. Melendez More

When we returned home we saw that the same car was on promotion on the web for a much lower price. So the manager sold us a car at a higher price even when we requested the promotional offer. I returned on Monday to talk to the manager and his response was that he sold me the car at a higher price than the promo because the company purpose with his customers was to get the highest amount of profits possible. This really blew my mind when a manager express openly that getting higher profits is more important to customer satisfaction. All these 3 hours of business conversation is a plan Circus or show that the dealer has to make profit out of us. This has been my personal worst experience working with a company and having a clear explanation of the values and principles of a company. Very sad to see this behavior More
