5K miles ago at 20K I took my car to get serviced. I had mentioned to my Service Rep, Jeremy Rivera, that my brakes were making noise and that maybe it was time to replace the pads. Jeremy tells me that the mentioned to my Service Rep, Jeremy Rivera, that my brakes were making noise and that maybe it was time to replace the pads. Jeremy tells me that the pads still have a while to go because I had mentioned to him that I do a lot of highway driving, he said they were at 5 mm more or less. I come back at 25K for service and he tells me that I need to replace all four rotors and pads at a cost of more than $900. If I had mentioned to replace the pads at 20K, why not just do it? Now I had to spend over $900 on pads AND rotors because of Jeremy’s lack of customer service and expertise. It really surprises me that the dealership I spoke so highly of would do this to a customer and it makes me really second-guess my decision of staying with Lexus when my lease is up if they conduct this sort of business. Truly disappointed. More
