I came in not really knowing what I wanted — somewhere between a sedan and an SUV, with a trade-in that I didn't even know the value of yet. Steve took all of that uncertainty and just ran with it. We test drove four different cars over the course of the afternoon. Steve listened to every preference, answered every question — and I asked a lot — and kept helping me narrow things down. What made it even more impressive is that he's only been at this dealership for two weeks. You'd never know it. By the time we were getting close to a decision, his manager Puru stepped in and found a car at another dealership that fit what I was looking for even better. Then at the last minute I remembered to ask about hybrids — something I hadn't even brought up the whole time we'd been talking. Without hesitation, they went and grabbed one for me to test drive. At 7:30 PM. The dealership closed at 5:00. Nobody mentioned the time. Nobody rushed me. At one point Steve looked at me and said, "You only buy a car so often — take your time and get it right." And he meant it. We didn't wrap up until later than any of us expected but the energy never changed. I've rushed into car purchases twice before.
