I bought a lexus certified pre owned 2025 lexus NX 450h+ plug in hybrid with 2500 miles on it from this dealership for my wife to celebrate her becoming a new mother and completing 1 year at her job. It was a struggling year for us, and I wanted to get her out of her old honda civic. Pros: they have cars you can buy and decent salemen. I liked ours: his name WIll Hollis. And thats the only Pro i can list Cons: 1.) They told us that this car was owned by their manager's wife and she has another key. We shook hands on the car price and came to pick up our car after 4 days of agreeing to buy after i had transferred funds in my account. I rejected finance as they were charging 5% and i could afford the money as I have been saving since my wife delivered 8 months ago. 4 days are enough to get car ready for hand off. So we have only one key so far. I am ok with that, fine we can pick it up later. 2.) We shook hands for a car price of 60,000 and whatever the scott county fees and other fees: Usually its 5% of car value after trade in plus $10 , $ 35 license fee, Title fee and $180 document fee, which is usually tacked but is not required by law. Fine we will pay , they did use their printers and time. Then time comes to sing the papers, Enter James Gooch 2023 president's award winner listed on his T shirt . He talks about my michigan connection and starts off by telling us that he heard that we love to negotiate so lets negotiate. not a great entry but fine, I just need to sing the papers and get the car adn pick up my kid from daycare. He sells extended warranty , I say no, he sells top coat ceramaic protection for 1499 , then reduced it to 1098 their lowest price, but my response is no, he doesn't get the hint and now tries to sell additional maintenance plan, I again refused it. Finally he throws his hands up in air and says well do you want anything else, I said just the car. We are herded to his chamber for signing paperwork and I see a seller accessory charge for Theft Protection for 299 dollars. I said we never agreed to this and he shows me its part of estimated taxes and fee. I said that doesnt make sense adn I dont agree to this. tries to push his luck further by stating its mandatory, they use it on every vehicle. I am silently aware that its likely a worthless piece of paper or some cheap GPS tracker that they use to track their inventory but nevertheless, I just dont want it. He states looks like we dont want to buy the car and gets up and leaves the room> it was funny because it was his chamber. Enter a new guy i dont know the name and he tried his luck nowtrying to sell this 299 xx. THen i simply ask show me the paper, and I tell my wife who is sweating in the corner because its almost 5 and day care closes at 5:30 pm. The paper is a worthless piece of warranty in case of theft and as usual with multitude of clauses and loopholes. WE were about to leave and they agreed to make an exeption and remove the 299. We paid cash and took the ONLY key they had. I left early to pick my son and my wife drove later after emptying our old car. We both work full time jobs and car buying should not be this difficult, especially if I am buying it cash. With God's grace we are were not strapped financially as I had worked very hard in last 8 months juggling work, family, taking care of our son so that I can buy my wife a car she likes. I have attached the picture of the bill and the warranty they were trying to sell. I seldom write reviews, But here i want to help another buyers, PLEASE READ EVERYTHING CAREFULLY BECAUSE THIS IS NOT A DEALERSHIP BASED ON TRUST, probably I am too naive to have thought so. More
Absolutely the worst car buying experience ever! ! These people wouldn't know the truth if it bit them. And it goes all the way to the top. The day I got the car home it nearly bled to death in my driveway. Spot of oil over a foot across in just a few hours. They had this vehicle for 60 days but magically it never leaked there. I looked it up in the Lexus database and guess what?? It said clean oil leak, just before I bought it. Do as you please, but trust me when I say, these people will absolutely lie to you!! More

Darnell helped to narrow down what I needed to do to get what I wanted. We decided to order just that and it was a wonderful experience all around. They gave me updates and kept me informed throughout the process. When the car came in I was treated like a VIP and had a smooth process getting paperwork completed for the best deal. They spent time making sure I knew how to operate the features set to my preferences. The best experience I have had buying a car. I highly recommend them to be your dealership too.
