Lexus of Smithtown was recommended to me by a friend after my previous Lexus was totaled during hurricane Sandy. As it turned out, they couldn't do much for me and I didn't enjoy my experience. So much for customer loyalty. I then went to Lexus of Smithtown and had a completely opposite experience. The staff at Lexus of Smithtown was extremely helpful and pleasant and the dealership had a pre-owned Lexus that fit my needs perfectly. David Hitt and Denise Plourde were a pleasure to work with. David was extremely knowledgeable about the RX-350 and was able to answer all of my questions and even some I hadn't thought to ask. Upon showing me how the car worked, David even quizzed me to ensure I had retained some of the key points he went over. Denise Plourde, the Finance Manager, patiently and clearly explained all of my options with respect to extended warranties and took the time to walk me through the financial process. David Hitt has been in touch with me a few times since my purchase to see if all is well with the car and to let me know he is always available to answer any questions that may come up. I had a great customer experience from start to finish at Lexus of Smithtown and, even though they are NOT my local dealership, I will return there for any future Lexus purchases I make and I will refer friends who are in the market for a new or pre-owned Lexus. On Sunday afternoon (11/25), my husband and I walked into the Lexus dealership of Smithtown. We've spent the last 6 months researching SUV's and decided that the RX 350 was the best fit. The moment we walked through their doors...we knew it was going to be a great experience. David Hitt greeted us by the door and kindly asked if we wanted any refreshments. It was like being on an all-inclusive cruise but the midnight buffet offered cars and SUV's instead. After our test drive we met with David and Frank to discuss numbers. Even after their door closed for the night, their patience never ceased! We reached an agreement that made everyone comfortable. Dolores contacted me the very next day to process DMV paperwork, and by Friday I was learning how to work all of the features that the RX had to offer. David spent 2-hours reviewing every button inside of my new SUV. My household has seen A LOT of cars/trucks (13 to be exact) and I can say without a shadow of a doubt that this experience has been the best. Would I recommend Lexus of Smithtown to a friend....Absolutely! More

We have been Lexus of Smithtown customers since 1994 and have always been extremely satisfied with the quality of Lexus cars and the level of customer service shown by the staff. We can not express our gratitude enough for the attention and support she provided as she quickly got us exactly the Lexus GS350 we had hoped for. Ms. Plourde introduced us to Mr. Hitt who led us through the purchasing and acquisition process. All we can say is the he has set the bar at the highest level for customer service and attention. Mr Hitt picked us up at home and brought us to Lexus the day we picked up the car. He spent several hours leading us through the technology of the car with a level of patience that was amazing. His professionalism and sincerity in making this a positive experience was overwhelming. We have always found Lexus of Smithtown to be an organization that values its customers and is focused on developing and maintaining long term relationships with them. Everytime we purchase a car, its a hassle free experience dealing with friendly people. The other thing we like is you are never felt rushed to sign. Upon delivery, they take the time you need for them to explain in detail the options and functions. They even help set up your phones to the bluetooth. The few times we have used the service department, the car is serviced quickly and the car is returned clean. Would without a doubt, recommend them to my friends for purchasing a car.
