I made an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation for 1pm today. I waited in the Service lane, after being checked in, for over 25 minutes. The Service writer, Mike then strolls out and tells me sorr for 1pm today. I waited in the Service lane, after being checked in, for over 25 minutes. The Service writer, Mike then strolls out and tells me sorry for the delay, he didn't know I was there. When I told him that's a long wait with no write-up, he just laughed it off. Then he proceeds to tell me, my wait time is 1-1/2 to 2 hours, because I don't have an appointment. When I explain I DID have an appointment at 1pm, he asked for my phone number, couldn't find me, and says no appointment shows - except for one thing - when I arrived, they found my appointment with no problem. He couldn't expain why...I've already been there for almost 30 minutes now, and says I'm realistically looking at close to 2 hours (also without a car wash). That's 2 1/2 hours for an oil change and tire rotation. This whole experience tells me one thing - they are oveerbooking work and don't care about their customers. Customer satisfaction is NOT a priority at this dealership and I won't be back. This is the 3rd time I've had a bad experience with them, concerning wait time and pricing for my service. I'll find someone else. More

My experience at Lexus of Tampa-Bay was perfect, this was my first time but a brand new car and I’m glad that it was a Lexus. The whole team was super nice and attentive. Today, 9/17/2025, my service advisors name was Frankie. He was very friendly and very nice. He kept me well informed on service being done on my vehicle. My service time was approximately 1.5 hours. He made me feel welcomed to the waiting area, and the available snacks and beverages offered. I had a nice experience. I had an excellent buying experience from this elite Lexus dealership. I reached out to the dealership because I wanted a very specific vehicle and we do not have a Lexus dealership where I live. This dealership appeared to have two of the vehicles that I was searching for coming in very soon. After speaking with the salesman it was learned that both of these vehicles were spoken for already. So they searched all over for the vehicle that I wanted & after three or four days they were able to locate one and arrange for it to be sent to their dealership. we made arrangements for me to pick the car up over that weekend. They even came and picked me up at the other dealership where I was getting rid of my old car and let me drive my vehicle back to their location. While there is a lot of paperwork to do in any car sale they were good at utilizing my time by introducing me to all the features on the vehicle helping me hook up my phone to my car going through all the settings, etc. They even took pictures and offered to put a bow on the car!!! They have followed up several times to be sure that I don't have any questions and have already scheduled my first service next year. I would highly recommend this group if you're looking for a Lexus. Jeremiah was my salesperson. More

I brought my car for just oil and filter change. They serviced the car more than 2 hours. I didn’t mind waiting that long because I was expecting them to take time servicing my car. It was rainy during this weekend when I got the car serviced. So after couple of days, the rain has stopped. My wife drove the car and I noticed some oil on the drive way. I ask my wife to come back. I checked the dip stick and the oil is below the empty line. Because I’m just vacationing in Tampa, I have to buy tools to remove the undertray to check what is draining. Oil filter was loose or cracked. I tightened it up and bought some oil to fill it up almost whole 5 quarts of oil. I called Lexus of Tampa the next business day. They sent Don the Lexus road side assistance. I asked him what can he do since I already tightened and added oil. He said he needs to check and remove the oil filter to make sure it’s not cracked. He came and went under the car for less than a minute and says everything is good then left. He didn’t even remove the undertray. I’m sure he didn’t see that oil filter without removing anything. Bad service all in all. More
