Lexus of Tampa Bay was amazing from the start. We called and spoke to Jared about a 2025 Lexus IS500 F Sport Performance Ultimate Edition that was currently in the build process. Jared was able to quickly reserve the vehicle with ease. Vehicle was delivered within a week of calling even though Lexus had anticipated 3-4 weeks out. Upon arriving at the dealership, Jared promptly greeted us and we immediately went on a test drive. During the test drive he explained every detail of the vehicle and answered all questions we had. He was very transparent about the vehicle and the entire process which was very appreciated from a buyers perspective. As soon as we finished, Jared immediately had our trade valued and all documents completed very quickly. He then introduced us to Craig in finance. Craig did a great job explaining all documents and answering all questions seamlessly. Jared's communication and work ethic is amongst the best we've ever had the pleasure of experiencing during a vehicle purchase. Everyone at Lexus was warm and inviting, very personable. Lexus of Tampa Bay definitely sets the standard for the industry as a whole! Dear Management Team at Lexus of Tampa Bay and AutoNation, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the extremely unprofessional experience I had while purchasing a used vehicle AutoNation, I am writing to formally express my dissatisfaction with the extremely unprofessional experience I had while purchasing a used vehicle from Lexus of Tampa Bay, an AutoNation dealership. Throughout the purchase process, it was clear that multiple staff members to include Hamza Younis and Manager Victor Delgado lacked basic knowledge of the vehicle, the paperwork, and standard dealership procedures. I was repeatedly given inconsistent information, had to correct errors myself, and was left waiting without explanation or direction. The overall experience reflected a concerning lack of organization, communication, and professionalism. Buying a vehicle—especially from a dealership representing both the Lexus brand and AutoNation—should be a straightforward and well-managed process. Unfortunately, this experience was the opposite. The confusion and lack of competence I encountered caused unnecessary stress and significantly diminished my confidence in both the dealership and the AutoNation organization as a whole. I expect better from a dealership operating under well-known and reputable brands. I am submitting this letter not only to document my experience, but also in the hope that management will address these issues internally to prevent other customers from being treated in a similar manner.
