Purchased a used 2017 Acura RDX from Lexus of Towson. Shortly after purchase, we discovered a serious issue where the battery clamp/terminal was not properly secured, causing the car to randomly not star Shortly after purchase, we discovered a serious issue where the battery clamp/terminal was not properly secured, causing the car to randomly not start. When we brought the issue to Lexus of Towson, we were initially told they “don’t service Acuras,” but once they physically looked at the problem, they agreed it was unsafe and fixed it. We later learned the Maryland State Safety Inspection was performed on 10/7/25 at Len Stoler in Owings Mills (11275 Reisterstown Rd) by service advisor Jonathan Saunders, even though this was a used car sale through another dealership. This is a basic issue that should have been caught during a state inspection. No follow-up was offered, and it raised concerns about what else may have been missed. More
