We loved our previous Lexus GX 470 and really didn't want to let it go. We bought a Lexus GX 460. I knew what I wanted and they worked to get it for me. I was anxious to get my car and John delivered it to me at my home...the extra mile. When I'm in the dealership for service, he always says hi. More
After 12 years of driving the same vehicle it was certainly time to look into buying/leasing a new vehicle. I went to Lexus of Watertown to look at different models to see which vehicle best fit my certainly time to look into buying/leasing a new vehicle. I went to Lexus of Watertown to look at different models to see which vehicle best fit my budget in addition to being safe and reliable. I decided on the Lexus IS250 AWD. Sure it's no secret that Lexus has an unbelievable reputation for its cars in terms of quality and luxury but something also has to be said about its customer service. Chad Tinti and Jimmy Yoo both made my transition to my new Lexus a smooth, rewarding experience. Chad Tinti. Master Service Consultant. And--Master is what he is. Not only is he the most personable individual you'll ever meet but he's also the best service consultant I have ever worked with. He's flawless. My car was spotless when I went to pick it up for the first time, all service/warranty information was explained fully. Since I've had my new car I had a small mishap occur where my car was scratched up a bit. Naturally, anyone would be terrified seeing scratches on your brand new vehicle. When I called Chad (anxiety at its highest) he had such a calming force about him. He made me feel that everything was going to be just fine and that he would make sure it got fixed. I was not disappointed. He followed through with his promise and continues to do just that for me. He continues to amaze me and I highly recommend Chad if you need a future service consultant (he just may even make you laugh which is the best medicine for any day right?). Jimmy Yoo went far and beyond to ensure that I understood everything that the Lexus IS was made of. Every feature was explained without fault, every service included with my lease was explained in full detail. He answered all my questions, was patient, professional and his knowledge is exceptional. What a great, kind person to work with. I appreciate all the time he spent with me--right up until I drove my new car off the lot. Chad and Jimmy continued to check in on me to make sure I was enjoying my new car and to make sure all my questions had been answered. Important is what I have felt from Lexus and its staff. I continue to feel that. Thank you Lexus of Watertown. I highly recommend Lexus of Watertown (Go see Chad and Jimmy!). You won’t be sorry! ~Sue B, Newton. More
Hands down the smoothest and best car buying experience!!! See Ed Grady in preowned! He’ll help you out with new or used. For those of you who do your research before making a purchase, I h experience!!! See Ed Grady in preowned! He’ll help you out with new or used. For those of you who do your research before making a purchase, I hope this review can help you out. I don’t usually post reviews but Ed at Lexus of Watertown deserves it. So let me tell you a little bit about my experience. I’m a believer that if you are in the market for any reputable vehicle (Bmw, Benz, Lexus etc) the quality of service (purchase – maintenance process) is just as important as the vehicle itself. Previous to purchasing my RX400h I owned a Mercedes sports car in which you can imagine I paid good $$ for. While I’m not going to trash Mercedes in this review I’ll say, it was a beautiful car, comfortable but very expensive to own. Mercedes service was excellent although at times a little annoying with hidden costs. Anyway last fall came time to make some changes. It was time to get rid of my toy which I had so expensively babied and trade it in for an SUV. (After this winter I’m patting myself of the back for this decision :) The only SUV that made sense to me was the RX, it looked comfortable stylish and economical and was in my price range. I stopped by a few dealers in the New England area to feel out what the prices were. (Lexus-Danvers, RT1 & Herb) I did some online research and compared prices and all the dealerships were about the same some more expensive than others depending on the vehicle shape. RT1 in particular was much higher. I found Lexus of Watertown online after a Google search narrowed down my specs to the vehicle I was looking for. I called the dealership and spoke with Ed Grady whom was very laid back and informative (a pleasant surprise considering most car salesmen are just ruthless when it comes to getting you in the door/car). So I was encouraged at this point to meet with Ed and view the vehicle(s) in stock. At the time my work schedule was a little hectic but Ed went out of his way to make time to meet with me. When I showed up Ed showed me a few different vehicles and suggested a Hybrid that they had in stock. I’ve never owned a Hybrid vehicle so I was very nervous about a car like this. Ed assured me that the car was a solid performer based on his experience owning a hybrid himself. “He even showed me his car afterwards”. After driving the vehicle and debating for a little bit I felt comfortable with Ed and the choice in vehicle to make the move. (At this point I was at the most painful part, the negotiation”) We took a seat at Ed’s desk and started talking some numbers. Of course Ed gave me a quote on my Mercedes from his sales manager that was pretty low, but he assured me that he would work for me to get the numbers where they needed to be. “And he did just that” after a few trips to his sales manager we found some common ground. (Let me assure you Ed help me reach a number that I felt comfortable letting my $$$ sports car go). I honestly don’t think any other sales person would have gone through the troubles he did. So the deal was done. I picked up the car a few days later. It was clean but there were a few things that I notice (because I am extremely meticulous) with cars. A ding in the fender and the carpet was a little dirty from the previous owner. I asked Ed if he could take care of the issues and he did it no questions asked. “He set me up with a loner for the day and took care of everything.” Recently I took the car in for service and noticed the paint chipping on the rear rim I spoke with ED and he assured me he would help me get it fix for a reasonable cost if not coverd. What more can a say??? I’m getting better gas mileage in a SUV then the Mercedes. The interior is extremely comfortable (Lexus leather is by far the most comfortable) the GPS and rear entertainment are really nice features to have. The hybrid system is a little weird at first (because it’s so quite) but definitely makes a difference at the pump especially when you’re sitting on 128, which is more often than not. And to top it off I had a remarkable sales transaction, the backing of a great warranty and an exceptional service department. Oh did I mention free car washes… Hope this helps your decision. I know I have no regrets. Thank you Ed and Lexus of Watertown. -Paul More

I went to Lexus of Watertown shopping for a pre-owned RX330 (my first Lexus). I was also looking at other makes and models and now know why people are Lexus customers for life. The professionalism and RX330 (my first Lexus). I was also looking at other makes and models and now know why people are Lexus customers for life. The professionalism and service culture at Lexus of Watertown made me feel like a valued customer and made purchasing my car an absolute pleasure. Randy Vera patiently listened to my needs and budget then promptly showed me the vast selection they had to offer along with his professsional recommendations for the best fit for me. A brief test drive later (five minutes into the ride I was sold) and Randy, Ken (his sales manager) and I were able to quickly agree upon a fair price for the car, less another equally fair price for my trade. On to my next hassle-free step-financing. I spent less than half an hour with Manny the business manager taking care of paperwork - again a relaxed, pressure free, professional experience. Drove out a few hours later in my fabulous new Lexus. I will be back to buy all my cars with this knowledgable, friendly, honest and professional staff and have already recommended others to do so as well. Go Lexus! More

His straightforward, low key approach has suited us, and he has been helpful and responsive. This time Arman went above and beyond. After my wife and I left the dealership in our new HS 250h on Sunday evening, we picked up take out in Watertown Square. After restarting the car, I could not put it into drive. I called Arman on his cell, and he came immediately to help. He pointed out that I neglected to depress the brake to shift into drive. Arman was kind enough not to embarrass me and suggested that the new technology had thrown me (which it had!). I have heard that the car sales business is difficult, but we congratulate this dealership on making it an efficient and pleasant experience. More
This dealership was a great experience for me, I just want to say that from the beginning my salesmen Ed Grady was a pleasure to work with and he gave me information on y car that I would not know and al want to say that from the beginning my salesmen Ed Grady was a pleasure to work with and he gave me information on y car that I would not know and although there was a missing smart key and First Aid Kit he assured I would have those things upon delivery. The other experience was with the financial advisor which was Manny Ferreira who helped me get the car around the price I wanted and made sure that I walked through the door happy. I’m defiantly happy with my car and with buying my second car from Lexus of Watertown. I recommend you see Ed Grady or Jimmy Yu cause they will help you in any way. More
This dealership consistently overpromises, overcharges, and UNDER delivers. This is my third bad experience with this dealership and I won't go back. As much as I love the Lexus, the service has been so and UNDER delivers. This is my third bad experience with this dealership and I won't go back. As much as I love the Lexus, the service has been so disappointing, it is not worth it. For the last three visits, I have been charged for repairs that were not adequately explained to me. When I called the service department for an explanation, my phone calls were not answered. I eventually complained to Lexus headquarters and than got a call from the head of service, promisiing me things had changed with the dealership, they had some turnover, and they had corrected their problems. Hopeful, I went back for another repair and had the same bad experience. I was charged significantly more for a break repair than the estimate. My service rep said that they would threw in a free tank of gas. When I drove home with my repaired Lexus, I saw that the tank was empty. Even that small promise was not fulfilled. More
It has been said that the greatest trick ever pulled - was the devil convincing the world he didn't exist. Personally, I always thought it was wanting to go to the dealership and given them my money. P was the devil convincing the world he didn't exist. Personally, I always thought it was wanting to go to the dealership and given them my money. Prior to that day, I had been the proud owner of a BMW and most recently an Audi. Those cars were nice and the service from each dealership was what I'd come to expect, nice. All of that changed on Friday, 2/18. From the moment I walked in the door, every member of the team had a smile on their face (especially unique during New England winters), was courteous and went BEYOND the extra mile to make sure I was happy. It didn't take long for me to realize that what I was experiencing was TRULY EXCEPTIONAL service. Lexus of Watertown does it right - and any company that has a service department, regardless of industry, would be wise to go experience how people should be treated. I met a number of people over the next few days. Chad in the service department, Manny in finance and Harold - who it would be an insult to to call an 'car salesman'. It was almost is if they were each in charge of relationships and customer experiences - but with a different twist. Chad described the Lexus way of service to me - brought to light that there is a better way to do things and treat customers. He's an expert. Manny worked with me to take my trade in and put me Lexus whose payments worked for me. I went into his office expecting war - and left with a handshake, smile and a sense that we were in this together. Harold, god save his soul, was responsible for walking me through the car, taking me on a test drive and making sure that EVERYTHING was taken care of. Outside of the paperwork that I had to fill out, Harold took care of everything else. Everything. On the way to pick up my car, I was concerned it was going to be a let down. How could the car live up to the level of service they'd expose me to? After walking through the car from top to bottom with Harold, getting all my questions answered in amazing detail, I was on the road with a smile and the radio blaring. Of course, I saw Chad as I was about to leave - he made sure to check in with me, make sure I was happy - and made it a point to offer even more help. Amazing. More
