Pulled my credit report from a phone call! I purchased a RX 350 back in March of this year from Lexus of Orlando! I called Lexus of Winter Park Florida on Saturday to specifically ask them i I purchased a RX 350 back in March of this year from Lexus of Orlando! I called Lexus of Winter Park Florida on Saturday to specifically ask them if I put some money down on my lease that day if it would lower my my huge payment! The person on the phone told me to hold on so they could ask a manager who they said can answer my question! I was then transferred to the next person who I was told that it would bring my payment down by $300! They told me to call back on Monday Because no one was there and finance on Saturday! They proceeded to look me up in their system from my purchase back in March of this year!. They asked me if I wanted to trade in my car and get a new lease! I told them NO that I was just inquiring about lowering my payment and told them do not pull a credit report! And next thing I knew, I got a notification in my email from Experian, Transunion and Equifax that Toyota pulled my credit report and it brought my credit score down! That’s illegal! I did not give them permission to pull credit the poor asking a question over the phone! I called on Monday and told them what happened They said they could not tell me why that was done, but they would find out and call me back! That was three days ago and I haven’t heard a word back. If anyone knows a good attorney in Orlando Florida or Winter Park Florida, please let me know in the comment section! More
