Buying a car from out of town This is a very professional dealership, however, I live in another state and offered to purchase via fed funds wire transfer and have a car picked up. This is a very professional dealership, however, I live in another state and offered to purchase via fed funds wire transfer and have a car picked up. I offered any type of identification and even a letter from my bank. I understand they have a policy that was put into force because of a previous incident but to close the door on a sale without reviewing an exception is not acceptable. Great prices but I guess I will have to purchase somewhere else. There was even a manager that was from my area and ask me multiple questions about changes in his hometown that proves further that I am not scamming. O well, it is what it is. More
