THEY OWE ME $2000 AND DON'T RETURN CALLS I bought a new ES350 on 3/25/17. The sales staff was terrific and my wife loves her new car. Two weeks later on Friday April 7, I was getting it refin I bought a new ES350 on 3/25/17. The sales staff was terrific and my wife loves her new car. Two weeks later on Friday April 7, I was getting it refinanced and discovered that Franklin in finance had failed to apply my $2000 deposit to the loan we did there. The check was cashed. I contacted Sergio, my salesman and texted him copies of contract and check which he provided to Everett who I think is the finance manager. Everett called me that evening and said he would get it straightened out and I would hear from him Saturday. Saturday afternoon when I had heard nothing I called both the parties in finance who were busy, so I left voice mails for them. No response. I left another message Sunday indicating that I was unhappy with their customer service and late Sunday I heard from Everett who told me I could come get the check or they would mail it Monday. I did not feel like driving 100 miles to get my money so I asked them to mail it. Should take 2-3 days to get from Orlando to Winter Haven. Today is Friday April 14th...no check. It is holding up my refinance as I need that money to be applied to my loan. I called again today several times, left messages and again I have had no response. Additionally there was no apology from Everett for something that they screwed up in the first place. I am upset and justifiably so but the impression I get is indifference on their part. It turned from a very positive experience to a negative one. I am furious that I cannot speak to someone and am forced to leave messages that go unanswered. I know that I will never buy another car from Lexus of Orlando and will probably go to Tampa for service. I am a retired Publix store manager and small business owner. Keeping customers happy and coming back is the foundation of good business, something I learned from my years with Publix. This deal with Lexus of Orlando has left me feeling that once they got my money they don't really care about me and apparently they are way too busy to return my calls. Sergio listened to my wants and needs and steered me to a great IS 350. He knew the inventory and was quite knowledgeable. He did not use any high pressure tactics but let the car sell itself on the test drive. He walked me through the electronics (which can be a little intimidating) and was so patient. After purchasing the car, Sergio contacted me the following day to see how I liked the car and if I had any questions or concerns. My only mishap was I felt the dealership lowballed the price on my trade in. CarMax gave me almost double the price Lexus of Orlando quoted me. More
