Not knowledgeable Brought my HONDA CRV that was acting up to Lia. They recommended a $1300 timing chain and tensioner replacement. After that, the car was still not r Brought my HONDA CRV that was acting up to Lia. They recommended a $1300 timing chain and tensioner replacement. After that, the car was still not running right. After bringing the car back to them four times over 6 months and them having no idea what was wrong, I asked if they could do an oil compression test. They performed the test and their conclusion was that they recommended "replacing the engine" which would cost $3000 - $4000. They extended no consolation with the timing chain which was replaced 6 months earlier. The customer service is friendly, but it is my belief that their service mechanics do not know what they are doing. More

We asked for the internet person who we were introduced to but she referred us to a salesman. We gave the salesman our e-mail indicating the internet price we wre quoted. He said he had to talk with someone so left us sitting and went across the hall and sat in a room with another gentleman. He was not showing the other person our papers, but just sat there. Five minutes later came back and said the price quoted was last month's price and quoted us another price. We questioned him again about the price and he said he needed to talk with someone and would come back. He sat in the same room across the hall for another five minutes then came back and said he couldn't find his manager. We pushed back again and then he left and came back with a gentleman who was some sort of manager. Manager said the internet price was wrong, internet person was new and shouldn't have offered us that price and offered us another higher price. He tried some small talk in between, tried to fast talk us about interest rates, other dealers prices, etc. Then he offered us something higher than an internet price. We said OK, we were shopping around that day. We said if we didn'f find a better price we would come back. He said then the price would go up. We confirmed with him that if we came back during the week and were interested in buying that the price would not be the same? He said no and quoted us a price that was even higher than his last quote. We walked out. More

The patient and understanding manner in which he fielded my many questions - as I test drove the vehicle (Honda Civic LX) in both city and highway traffic - reinforced and enhanced Lia Honda's reputation for me. His professional manner continued as I requested to see Lia Honda's Service Department. (That Service Department layout was impressive and put to rest any concerns I had about waiting a VERY LONG time to have my car serviced. His affable and attentive manner - as we negotiated - made the bargaining process a surprisingly pleasant and positive experience.
