My son was interested in a car at this dealership and was corresponding back in forth with Sara for a few days discussing when he’d be in to look at the car. Sara informed him that there were a lot of people corresponding back in forth with Sara for a few days discussing when he’d be in to look at the car. Sara informed him that there were a lot of people looking at said car and advised him to put a deposit down. When he asked how much she’d need to hold the car until Saturday, she told him $1,000. But then she said,”I’d really hate to see you put that money down unless I knew for sure you were buying the car because it takes 2 weeks to refund that money”. So, he did not put a deposit down. He said if it sells before Saturday, just let me know. Fast forward 2 days to Saturday. We drive to Albany(about 45 minutes) and walk in and ask to speak to Sara about this car. Gentleman comes back and says car was sold late last night. I’m completely ok with the fact that the car was sold. What I’m not ok with is the fact that Sara couldn’t even bother to text or call my son to let him know. It would have been the courteous thing to do. But she got her sale so what does it matter. Just very poor communication and customer service. More
