We had started car shopping a week ago and went to Kingston to continue our search for the "perfect car". We had expected to run the gamut of dealers in town and decided to stop at Honda first as Carl Kingston to continue our search for the "perfect car". We had expected to run the gamut of dealers in town and decided to stop at Honda first as Carl had seen a video presentation of the Honda Crosstour and thought it might suit his needs. When he told John Hutton what he was looking for, we were directed to the "Manager's Car" which was a 2012 Crosstour with some mileage. After driving it, he was in love. The price was more than we thought we could afford so we also drove a 2010 which was available. We thought we might take that one (I really liked the color)we thought about it overnight and worked with John to get a fair trade in for our old Saab and finance some of the cost of the Crosstour. We did spend more time thatn I would have liked in "waiting around" but John did have other customers so we were patient. In any case, Carl got the car he wanted and we had a better than average car buying experience. More
Recently I took delivery of a new Honda Civic from Morehead/Honda of Kingston and I have to say it was a very pleasant buying experience. It was a pleasure dealing with John King (sales consultant) and Wyatt Savage (finance manager), these two gentlemen were polite and very helpful during the buying process. My sister in law purchased her CRV in 2011 from this dealership and she was pleased with the service she received, so we chose to use this dealer as well. They were great to work with. I had a great experience with Honda of Kingston. The people I dealt with had wonderful personalities and were very helpful. There were no hassles!!!! On the other hand the Business Manager, Paul Arena was ALL Business, not overly friendly and seemed to get a little pushy when trying to get me to accept additional warranty. He didn't want to take NO for an answer. i don't like to having to say NO 6 OR 7 TIMES. More

This was the easiest and most stress free car buying experience I have had to date. Chris Longinott was easy going, friendly, up beat, and took care of all the details. Chris was friendly, easy to work with and willing to make sure I was happy with the overall experience. Initially I was unsure of the exact trim level I was interested in so he had me test drive both withou sure I was happy with the overall experience. He did not have any arrogance or 'agenda of his own'. He was most real and genuine and I'm convinced he was very honest with our search. We couldn't be more pleased with my purchase ......... altho a lower price would have been very pleasant. The search for the right car took 6 months. I did a great deal of research, and test drives, and google searches, and interviews of 'owners' of the 'candidates' of my choice. I actually designed a grid to keep all the information organized. I had several necessary issues ........ the cargo area had to be large, but I wanted a SUV that gets decent mpg, has high ratings from consumer reports, was pleasing to look at, and had to be comfortable for my spine problems, and be within my budget. He made the perfect suggestion. I had many UNpleasant experiences with other dealerships. They were most arrogant and insistent, not caring about my opinion. They'd disappear for 10 or 15 minutes, and try to intimidate ................. I am SO glad they lost that sale, for if I had been weak and been pushed into buying something I wasn't convinced about, I wouldn't have my wonderful, safe and beautiful Honda !!! I did meet several people at your Honda dealership, and they all seemed decent to deal with. We were quite favorably impressed with the people and my car! I'm certain this family will be driving Hondas from now on !!! Thank You So Much ! More
