Buying a vehicle from a former mechanic is a good thing We were greeted by the business manager when we came into Lia of Honda in Kingston. After asking a few technical questions about the CR-V I felt he wa We were greeted by the business manager when we came into Lia of Honda in Kingston. After asking a few technical questions about the CR-V I felt he was not the right person to initially do business with. He introduced us to Mike Markota, a salesman and former mechanic. Mike and I traded experiences with cars we each owned, applying those experiences to what the CR-V has to offer. It was great. Mike Markota then proceeded to allow us to test any vehicle on lot, as long as we wanted. We compared the CR-V EX-L with the CR-V Tour and with the Passport. Mike was patient and extremely informative. Mike, my wife, and established a trust that made the experience of buying a vehicle a pleasure. As a matter of fact, we were just looking, planning to buy in a year. The next week I came back to Lia Honda of Kingston ready to buy. I did a lot of homework on competitor bands, and other Honda dealers. We test drove some more, looked at colours, and continue to check out the differences between the CR-V EX-L and the CR-V Tour. The Tour was not available in the colour I wanted, but I was satisfied with getting the CR-V EX-L. I was not entirely prepared to buy that day, coming up in a car by myself. Mike Markota helped me arrange the insurance, plates, and other details -- including a referral program that will prove to be fruitful to a person that referred Lia to me and fruitful to me as well. Mike volunteered to drive my other car back to my home as I drove my new purchase. He volunteered it, I did not asked him to do it. All said and done, Mike Markota, played a critical role in getting our business with Lia Honda of Kingston. I am very happy with the purchase, and even happier about the experience. More

From this check I was given some suggestions on service that I should have in the near future. Jared answered all my questions I had about the services suggested. There was no pressure to do more than what I came for which was nice and I was pleasantly surprised by picking up my car that had been run through their car wash!
