Long-time relationship with the dealership and employees. I love Hondas (unsolicited comment!). I have lived in Kingston for many years and always used this dealership. Although it has changed hands a couple I love Hondas (unsolicited comment!). I have lived in Kingston for many years and always used this dealership. Although it has changed hands a couple of times I always came in to see friendly faces and got good service. The service department worked for decades in an old building on Broadway which was really inadequate for it's purpose but everyone soldiered on and the service never suffered as a result. Sue Kelly, who helped me at my most recent service, is one of those long-time, long-suffering (and non-complaining!) people I was always glad to see there. I'm really thrillled that after the purchase of the dealership by the Hudson Valley behemoth Lia Honda they FINALLY moved into a new, elegant, sparkling, handsome building and location, directly across the street from their old place but miles away in terms of the facility, apprearance, and - I'm sure - the pleasure of working in such a pleasant physical environment, with the very latest in technology, lots of space, etc. I am so happy to come in now that I am actually pleased to find out I have a problem so I can visit! Well, I exaggerate, but you get the idea. Thank you, Sue, for always greeting me as more than a random customer, and taking such good care of myself and my several Honda vehicles! More

Lia offered a great price (according to TrueCar), and it was the best that we received. The salesperson, Mike Markota, made the whole car buying experience as pleasant as possible. He was not high pressure, and he took plenty of time to explain many of the features of this vehicle. Buying a car can be a stressful experience, but Mike helped to minimize the stress! More

Assisted by Anna-Stesi Saunders (and Sam) we looked at a pre-owned 2016 Civic and Accord. Guiding us through a major decision, rather than pushing us, Anna-Stesi showed us how a new car would actually meet our needs better and be more economical over a longer period. She also helped make the "deal that sealed it." The entire staff at Lia is personable, knowledgeable, and helpful - not at all pushy. Totally recommend Lia! More

Rude and pushy Worked with Breanna. She was very pleasant and helpful over phone, texting and emailing. Came in for an appointment and I was placed with Darian. He Worked with Breanna. I had everything lined up and done through Breanna. I was put in a waiting area for half hour. Darian said we found a vehicle that your approved for. So he took me into show the car. It was being cleaned and worked on. So he asked me to come back the next day to test drive and get a better look at car. My husband and I came back next day. We started asking questions about the car, how much was it? Why is it we are being charged way over what it was worth. Still no word on payment amount or anything. I said I needed to know before I decided on car. He was a rude and huffy and went off to talk to someone. Came back a bit later with the information and said here sign. I’m like no I’ll look it over. He said everything was good and I was grow great deal because he has to pay like $50 more a month. I told him several times a family member wanted to come and look things over and see what loan was and interest rate and all. He kept saying no he doesn’t need to come there’s nothing for anyone to see. I spoke several times that I was not signing and to see if manager would hold car. He said NO he was going to wait. I couldn’t believe how he was treating me and my husband. We just turned around and left. Car was nice but not well taken care of and it was still dirty even after they cleaned it. More
