He makes the extra effort to recognize me by name and by vehicle, provides timely updates via cell phone when necessary, and confirms an estimated time when my car will be available to pick up. Simply an awesome dude! As a relatively new driver with limited experience and knowledge with the technical aspects of automotive repair/service, other service reps have sometimes condescended to me, made me feel unimportant, or refused to take the time to explain suggested services to me. Don and the other reps at Lia always make sure I am well informed of the status of my vehicle and take the time not only to let me know what services they need to perform, but why they are necessary, what parts of the car they affect, and any pricing options I might have. More

Fraudulent, Misleading & Deceptive We brought in our Sonata to have an engine replacement that was originally quoted to take a total of one week (dropped of on a Wednesday, signed work We brought in our Sonata to have an engine replacement that was originally quoted to take a total of one week (dropped of on a Wednesday, signed work order on Friday, were told we could pick up the following Thursday) and we are now THREE WEEKS out and still haven't been able to pick up our car. Not including weekend days, we are looking at a total of 17 days and counting, for a job that was suppose to total a business week. We have been given the run around by an AWFUL service person and have not had a better experience with their current service manager, Chuck. The lack of professionalism that we dealt with and are STILL dealing with at Lia Hyundai of Albany was/is astounding and unlike anything I've ever experienced. We are a family of long time Hyundai buyers that will NEVER again be buying one of their vehicles and will be trading in this vehicle just as soon as we possibly can. Do NOT go to this dealership. They are a group of liars and manipulators and will NOT offer you a fair price, feel that your time is not as valuable as yours and have a blatant disregard for you and your business. More
