Worst Experience of Trying to Purchase a Car My name is TJ Serson. I visited Lia Toyota yesterday to test drive a 2018 Chr. Tom Pottenburgh is the salesperson I dealt with. This man shoul My name is TJ Serson. I visited Lia Toyota yesterday to test drive a 2018 Chr. Tom Pottenburgh is the salesperson I dealt with. This man shouldnt be selling vehicles. The test drive was awful he knew nothing about the car I would ask a question and kept being told “I dont know, but I can find that out” and was never told anything. I felt as if I couldnt even get a great feel for the vehicle because I was rushed. I wanted to take a look at how everything worked, yet instead it was just a 5 minute test drive with a clueless person. Next I would like to address that I am currently a Lia customer I purchased lease at Lia Honda. After going for the test drive I wanted to get some numbers. I didnt even get numbers. Instead I was told when I have money to come back. This really was the worst experience of my life. My lease is ending soon and all I wanted was to explore my options and was told to xxxx off. I will be making sure my view point of this dealership goes viral. Maybe you will enforce your sales people to treat customer with respect, and not to focus on what they look like instead making sure they like the car and see what ways we could move forward. And it would he nice to get a response from a manager, it has been over a week with no response or apology. More

Top notch - The UNsalesman! We met Cody when searching for a 2017 compact car lease. We had it narrowed to Toyota, Honda and Nissan. Our criteria? A comfortable seat (due to my s We met Cody when searching for a 2017 compact car lease. We had it narrowed to Toyota, Honda and Nissan. Our criteria? A comfortable seat (due to my spinal injuries) and safety. What we liked about Cody was his ability to educate us on the features of the car within natural conversation, while truly listening to our wants and needs; as opposed to pitching us a scripted sell. He was SO knowledgeable about the Corolla and had a great demeanor all the way around. Having test driven a base model, we loved the safety features, but the seat wasn't quite right. Seeing my disappointment as we began to leave, Cody mentioned that the SE model had a different seat. I tried it out and it worked! Considering the increased cost that came along with the upgraded trim, we decided to sleep on it a few days. He was never pushy, didn't harass us with emails or calls, and was very quick to respond to our questions via email and phone. Despite the higher cost, he helped us negotiate a very fair lease term with the mileage we needed. We are so happy with our decision! I've been purchasing cars since 1996 and I've never had such an enjoyable, stress-free process. The finance department had us driving away in an hour and a half. Car hunting can be anxiety inducing, for sure. Usually, my stomach turns a little after acquiring a new car. NOT this time! Cody provided first class service at an affordable cost. We felt like we were leaving in the fanciest car on the lot! If Cody isn't a model of the approach that all of Lia Toyota's sales staff take, he should be! More
