I brought my car for oil change. On the way home Friday, the undercar shield fell down. Car was towed back to the dealer service dept Saturday morning. Saturday afternoon right before the service dept was closing, we were told car was all set. After picking it up and driving back home, there were still scratching sound. I had to call again Monday morning. The service coordinator was not in, so I asked to speak to the service manager. The lady who answered the phone first told me the manager was doing payroll and will call me back later. After over an hour, I called back and explained the car needs to be towed back there again. I was told to wait again. She didn’t even know what car I was talking about and what issue was, although I explained to her twice already. She went to talk to the service manager. She came back and told me that it is my responsibility to get the car back to the dealer. They will not help arrange towing, and I live 15miles away on the other side of downtown hartford with busy traffic. I argued it was their service tech causing the issue. She was very rude. I hanged up since it was not going anywhere. I went online to look for the GM contact number. The service manager called me back. I asked if I could bring to a nearby shop and have it fix, then get reimbursement. Besides the hustle of bringing back there, I lost confidence in their work. He said yes. I drove very slowly to Firestone 0.5mile from my house. They fixed very easily. The liberty Honda service tech didn’t lined up the shield plate corrected after the oil change. Then they didn’t line it up right again after it was brought back Saturday. I am very disappointed with liberty Honda service department work. I already had back experience with their work on my car’s brake when I initially purchased it. Now they couldn’t even do it right for an oil change. I have one more free oil change there, but I am not going back there anymore. Rude customer service and poor technical service! Wish I didn’t buy my car there. More
