Professional, honest service department I recently had my car serviced at Liberty Mazda. I was greeted by Jonathan right away and went over the concerns I had. He was technically knowledgable and very professional. He made me feel at ease that my car was in good hands. I was soon after greeted by the Service Manager, Jason. He is a hands on manager who truly cares about his customers and the reputation of the service department. The facility is clean and modern with a nice waiting area but I chose to take their free shuttle back home. Although I'm not a mechanic, I know a lot about cars and do a lot of work myself so I usually know what is wrong with my car when I bring it in to be serviced. I use this knowledge to judge the honesty and integrity of a service center. The diagnosis and suggested repairs by Liberty Mazda were spot on. They were honest and fair. I will not hesitate to use Liberty Mazda Service next time the need arises and I would recommend them to friends and family. More

Excellent experience My father and I stopped in one night about 45 minutes before closing and we were greeted by Jason Nye. We were looking at the 2016 Mazda 6 and Jason was able to answer all of our questions and his product knowledge was outstanding. Every question about the car I asked he was able to answer right away. I've sold cars a few years back and I've also bought good amount of cars in the past but I never had a salesman as knowledge and friendly as Jason. I went back on the weekend to test drive the car and he explained to me the way they price the vehicles and all the offers they have. He also explained to me that they are non commission based. Being non commission definitely helps eliminate the pressure but Jason have me zero pressure. I had an outstanding experience with Jason and I highly recommend seeing him if you're interested in a car on their lot. More
"Service Department is Outstanding!" I bought my car at another dealership and was dissatisfied with that dealership's service department, so I tried Liberty Mazda and am I glad I did. Every time I have come in for an oil change, the staff is friendly and very efficient and I don't have to wait longer than 45 minutes....and they even wash my car! Now that's service that you don't get everywhere! I can honestly say that Liberty Mazda is the best overall dealership in Connecticut!!! Vivianna More

Gary then made the finalizing of the purchase very seamless and easy. I unfortunately forget the name of the woman who went through all the bells and whistles with us before we drove it off the lot but she was extremely informative and awesome as well! Terrible Experience I made an appointment through their online scheduling system. Admittedly I got there a few minutes late, but after speaking with someone, they weren't I made an appointment through their online scheduling system. Admittedly I got there a few minutes late, but after speaking with someone, they weren't even aware of the appt and had to check the computer records, which took some time. Clearly no one had been waiting for me. Ok, that part is understandable, it is just a scheduling system that doesn't work very well. But it got worse. They told me to have a seat until a representative was ready. I waited and waited and waited. I tried to flag people down, but they kept walking past, very briskly. Finally after almost an hour I gave up and left. They didn't seem very busy, maybe they are understaffed, but it seemed like there were plenty of people just standing around (in the back room). More
I found Liberty Mazda through Auto Trader and I have to say overall I was pleased with my experience. The sales men were not overly "Sale-sy" and everyone we talked to was fairly helpful. I ended up buying the first car I test drove after many, many test drives in other Mazdas and similar models by Honda and Toyota. One thing my dad and I were not happy about is that they hid the fact that they do not negotiate price. We were under the impression that we could make a lower offer and try to get a price I was more comfortable with. However, the sales manager was completely unwilling to budge on the price, even after days of waiting. I later found out my car was well below market price so I guess in some ways I feel better about my purchase but still...Liberty needs to be more upfront about price. Another issue was the financing. I already had amazing financing set up with an outside credit union and the financing guy at Liberty told me he could do even better. This was not true. I ended up using my own financing and am very happy that I did. If you're looking at buying a Mazda do your research and consider Liberty because they have a huge selection and their customer service is great. If you want a salesmen who isn't pushy or annoying ask for Michael! He's great!
