I brought it there recently to get an assessment because a whining noise was coming from the rear end (transfer case). I researched the problem carefully before taking it there, and isolated the most problem to a bad wheel bearing and axel seal. Liberty Mazda confirmed that the leaking was from the transfer case right axel seal and the noise was from the right wheel bearing hub. Liberty said nothing else was wrong. However, Liberty wanted $1900 for parts and labor to replace the entire rear-end and wheel bearing. This is also the visit where I learned that many of the parts for this car are made by Ford. They charged me $165 to do the assessment. I had the transfer case seal and wheel bearing replaced at a local transmission specialist (not AAMCO), because Liberty Mazda consistently overcharges for parts and labor. After the replacing the parts that Liberty said were needed, 2 weeks later the same noise gets even louder. I take it back to the shop that did the repairs to check the noise and the repair shop says they have to replace THE DRIVESHAFT AND THE RIGHT FRONT WHEEL BEARING. Liberty said NOTHING about these parts. I have consistently had problems with Mazda dealerships providing wrong estimates and then wanting to replace major parts at premium prices. Stay away from Liberty Mazda! This Mazda "expert" does not know how to assess problems with their own cars, and then give reasonable prices to fix things. My trust in dealership repair shops fell farther. This is the last Mazda I will buy. More
The Best there is.!!!! I have been a customer since 1992. The service people and the Service guys and guys are the best in the business. ( The best in MA for sure) I have been to Mazda dealers in VA and MD and they are no comparison to Liberty. Ask for Donna in service, because she went above for me. Jeff is also excellent. I know I sound like a commercial for Liberty, everything I said was true. I filed a complaint against Winchester Mazda a Subaru. I made a scene and they were not happy. Everyone heard. The kept me waiting for 2 hours for an oil change. I filed the complaint with Mazda headquarters. However, I digress. Donna helped me when I lost my wallet and I was frantic. She is kind, compassionate and a true professional who knows her trade very well. Thank you Donna for making a horrible day wonderful. More

I was able to spend time speaking with my salesman, Albert Blank. Al was happy to see me and made sure the service was was done to my satisfaction. Al and me chatted and laughed a bit. I find Albert Blank to be friendly, professional and a friend. It's nice to have that relationship with your salesman after buying a vehicle. My CX3 was serviced with a complimentary synthetic oil change, wash and vacuum- all free! I strongly suggest you go to Liberty Mazda if you're looking to purchase a superb vehicle, sales and service. Most of all, see Albert Blank-you'll feel like part of the family and Al will assure you receive the best deal possible!!! More
Consistently personable, accommodating, and professional I have been coming to Liberty Mazda for service for 15 years. I actually continue to buy Mazda, despite checking out competitors, because i cannot leave this service department. Now led by Tom Robinson, and before him Wally, they have met my every expectation for Quality Service. But more important to me is the personalized relationships i have developed with Tom (who was a service consultant before assuming leadership) and Howie McClallan. They work with me in finding a time that fits my crazy schedule. They are honest about the time it will take to fix so i can plan my day. If longer than two hours, they make sure i get a ride to and from home if that is what i want. AND they also get me a loaner car if i have to go to work. It is the relationships with these two outstanding men that keep me feeling secure that my car is in good hands and I am personally taken care of. Kudos! More

drive as far away from this place as your car will take you it's a shame one can't give no stars at all, because that would most appropriately convey my feelings about these guys. both the service techs i dealt it's a shame one can't give no stars at all, because that would most appropriately convey my feelings about these guys. both the service techs i dealt with and the manager, tom, we're at best indifferent and dismissive, and at worse openly hostile. they kept me waiting an hour with no word about the status of my car, and only when i went and asked did i learn they couldn't locate the part i had ordered (and confirmed last week). when they did locate it, they informed me it would be $150 for the simple fix, not the $35 i was quoted when making the appointment. they wanted to go ahead and fix it, but i wasn't about to pay that, so i asked for my car back. they told me they had already opened it up. i said put it back, i'm leaving. incredibly, i got home to find that but only did they fail to fix anything, they actually damaged my car. i had gone in to get the trunk release button fixed. it still worked, but had pushed through the hole in the body, so you had to stick your finger into it to release the trunk. now, the button is gone. when i called to ask what had happened, manager tom tried to blame me. i cannot believe these jokers. save yourself time and money and endless frustration and ask a local toddler for assistance. they'll likely be more helpful.
