I brought my car in for its 10,000 mile maintenance. Being that this is a new car, I was a little disappointed that it took as long as it did to rotate tires and change the oil without washing the car. (If I would have known it wasn't going to be washed, I would have taken it to the car wash before taking it in since I had an appointment later that day.) There might have been other things done and checked, but the person dealing with me told me that the only actual things that needed to be "done" to the car were the tire rotation and oil change. Air conditioner is working now after the repair. Liberty Toyota even scheduled another appointment 2 weeks from service date so to make sure it works fine. It was easy to make the appointment on Liberty's website and they informed us that we could drop off our hybrid car by putting the keys in a lockbox at their location. I was concerned that the age of our car (16 years) and its mileage (273000 miles) would trigger a recommendation to scrap the car but they found the issue, notified us of the cost, and promptly repaired it. As the prevalence of hybrid and electric cars is increasing, I hope that Toyota is working hard to make sure that all its technicians are certified to maintain and service these types of vehicles.
