I performed a significant amount of research in advance of meeting with any dealers and understood clearly a reasonable price I could expect on a new vehicle (2014 Prius c and Corolla S-Plus). Being prepared certainly contributed to a smooth negotiation and transaction experience for the two cars my husband and I ended up driving away. If you happen not to perform any research, I am confident these folks will still treat you fairly. Jeff was low pressure, incredibly personable and very much acted on my behalf in communicating with the finance team. He took the time to answer all of my detailed questions and handled the negotiation professionally while keeping my interests in mind. The deal we worked out was incredibly fair and mutually beneficial. It was a win-win and I would highly recommend Jeff as a fair and consumer-oriented sales consultant. He is an asset to the dealership and builds a tremendous amount of loyalty in his approach with customers. Lydiann Moulton was terrific to work with. Although there was a hiccup among marketing, sales, and finance departments she was incredibly patient as I considered my purchase more thoroughly after a slight unexpected change in my purchase price. Make sure you understand clearly any promotional details and to which make model and year of vehicle you wish to apply. The marketing department had a pretty vague ad that was not applicable to my vehicle at the end of the day. Not Lydiann's fault at all and she kindly worked through the financing with me answering all of my questions along the way with patience and a high degree of professionalism. I highly recommend Lydiann for her willingness to help customers understand every aspect of promotions and financing. The experience was so positive that I brought my husband in the very next day to do a second deal. Carl-Henri Tassy personally sat down with us to talk through deal specifics and was forthright about what we could expect out of our second deal with Liberty Toyota. He was friendly and professional and genuinely worked with us to negotiate a fair and mutually beneficial deal. Lynn Larke was equally friendly and patient in answering our questions while she expeditiously processed our financing transaction. Overall, I am deeply pleased with my experience at Liberty Toyota and highly recommend the team above for your next vehicle purchase. More
"Fantastic Offer" I was at Liberty Toyota to have by 2004 Camry serviced (which was purchased from Liberty Toyota and service there for the past ten years). While waiting for my car I was approached by Salesman Daryl Hertz. He informed me of the advantage of trading my car for a new Toyota. However, I was very satisfied with my Camry and very reluctant to update at this time. He was courteous and professional, explaining the benefits trading my car now. He was helpful in getting me a deal on new Toyota Avalon, which I couldn't pass up. More
Marvin the Marvelous! I took my recent (less than 30 days) purchase of a 2011 Camry LXE that I purchased at Holman to trade for a new Camry. Due to my horrible experience a I took my recent (less than 30 days) purchase of a 2011 Camry LXE that I purchased at Holman to trade for a new Camry. Due to my horrible experience at Holman and having to take the car to the service department 3 times in 3 weeks, I decided I wanted a new car. I decided on Liberty Toyota because of the location and figured it had to be better than Holman and their shiesty sales techniques. I was greeted by Marvin and he really did a great job selling a car to me. I wanted to buy a 6 cylinder because that's what the XLE had and I really liked the extra power. Marvin confided that the new Camry had a 4 cylinder engine but a 6 something and that it was better than the older Camry with just the 4 cylinders. So, based on his advice, I did a test drive on an XL and thought it was a good idea to stick with the 4 cylinder because it did have decent "pick up", plus with the XLE, I was using much more gas than usual. I have been driving a Camry for over 15 years and I am sold on the Toyota Camry. I did purchase the car from Liberty and the sales process was not as painful an experience as I had experienced at Holman. Marvin went out of his way to make sure I understood everything and was happy with my purchase. He took the time to walk me around the vehicle and explain all the different parts and functions of the new car, he also set up my Bluetooth and radio, a courtesy that was not extended to me with Holman. Liberty Toyota gave me the impression that they cared about their customers and quality of their service. I would definitely recommend Marvin to a friend. The graded portion of this review reflects that I am reviewing my experience with Liberty Toyota as a whole and not solely based on Marvin and so I rated the "Quality of Work" a 3 because when signing the documents with the Finance Representative "Pat", I found him to not be as friendly as everyone else and when I asked him to fax some documents to Holman so that I did not have to go back to Holman he stated he could not do that because it was coming from another dealer which it wasn't - it was coming from me. I did not understand his answer nor did he bother to tell me. Topping things off he left his office before formally ending things and shaking hands because Marvin had come into his office to speak with us. My impression was that he lacked a certain professionalism with us. No skin off my back but it didn't go unnoticed! Marvin the Marvelous gave me a 5 Star experience and I now consider myself a Liberty Toyota customer. More
