Not sure if that was a mistake or trying to upsell. After seeing both cars, we went to another dealership and came back. We were told that the 2014 sold, but theres a 2017 we can look at. Stop trying to upsell me already! I asked for the price on the 2016, out of curiosity, hoping that maybe we'd score a little deal since the one we came for had sold. HA! He comes back with the price advertised online, plus $2280 "cert fee". WTH. That's 15% of the price of the car, what kind of nonsense is that? We let him know that we were not interested in paying OVER the advertised price, and left. So, let's recap...the car we wanted sold, and their pricing is NOT as advertised online. On the bright side, Alex was a good guy, and the cars were very clean. More

Shame on you. Called Libertyville Chevrolet about a car to make sure it is there and made an appointment to come see it for 8pm. We received a call at 6:30 pm asking if we are coming. We arrived at 8:20 pm and were told that the car “was sold that afternoon”. Excuse was : that they use 2nd party advertising agency and their system was not updated. Also to qualify for advertising price we need to qualify for 8 different requirements. So obviously they tried to sell a much more expansive car. Nothing on the listing it say about special qualifications. In fact ” No known incentives available - contact dealer for possible offers”. It is next day car still online: VIN: 1GNSKAKC9GR468208 Stock #: T26023 We were told that incentives were listed on the listing “Incentives may vary for individual trim levels. Incentive eligibility subject to approval and dealer participation. Dealers may have already included some promotions in listing pricing. Contact dealer for details” We called from dealer’s floor to original person Cameron. He would not take our call or call us back. We were told he is on the other line. So this is Libertyville’s Chevrolet way to get people in the door by lying to them. Shame on you. More

SCAMMERS! SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS DEALERSHIP! I found the car my husband was interested in. I was very excited to show it to him. It happens to SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! DO NOT SHOP AT THIS DEALERSHIP! I found the car my husband was interested in. I was very excited to show it to him. It happens to be at Libertyville Chevy. Called them to confirm that they indeed have this car and scheduled an appointment to see it the same day. Appointment was at 8:30 pm; at 6:30pm salesman called me to confirm my appointment. I indeed confirmed that we will be at the dealership to see this car as planned. I texted him that we are on the way. When we got there, I could not meet that salesperson I spoke on the phone, I was told that he is busy on the phone. Another salesperson who greeted us at the door told us pretty much right away that the car has been just sold 2 hours ago. If we wanted to see/buy this car we had to put a deposit down. Also, in order to get the price that this car was selling for we had to meet numerous ( I think, we were told 8) different incentive conditions. Well, this incentive conditions are not listed anywhere on the listing we could find. We were told it’s in the fine print in the end of the description. I searched the website b/c the car is still posted on their website (refer to the picture with the date on it) and could not locate any of those 8 different incentive regulations. I am also attaching the picture of the incentive conditions in fine print. The salesperson we spoke with politely apologized and said that he can show us different cars. Did not honor internet price I test drove a car and after a long wait, finally received a price quote. The price was significantly higher than the price shown online. When I said I was not interested in his price, the manager came out and tried to intimidate with very high pressure sales tactics. I will not go back. More
