We told him what we were looking for and he found exactly what we needed within our budget. We got an amazing car at a great price. He handled our deal with kindness, sincerity and professionalism. We will definitely go back and work with Nick within the next year for our next car! More
Taken advantage of I feel completely taken advantage of. My 2003 Saturn Ion wouldn't start so I had to get it towed to Libertyville Chevrolet. My service advisor was I feel completely taken advantage of. My 2003 Saturn Ion wouldn't start so I had to get it towed to Libertyville Chevrolet. My service advisor was Steve Baker. They ran a diagnostic and told me I needed a new battery and that the total (including the diagnostic fee) was $407. I knew this was high but I didn't have much of a choice because the car wouldn't start so I couldn't drive it to another lot for a better price. I told him to do the work so they cleaned and secured the terminals, replaced the battery, and this fixed the problem. I go to pay and the total was $449.56. $449.56 for a new battery. Libertyville Chevrolet, I hope you make a change. Instead of feeling happy that you fixed my car, you left me feeling humiliated that I chose you. More
Total Rip-Off First off, do not walk into the front doors unless you have done your research! They will absolutely rip you off if you give them the chance! I pu First off, do not walk into the front doors unless you have done your research! They will absolutely rip you off if you give them the chance! I purchased a used car here which was WAY overpriced and told them so. It took 3 visits and talking to several managers before they agreed on a price that was FAIR. I also had a trade in on a 2011 Nissan Rogue and they offered me $900 less than what was due on the pay-off amount. I agreed to pay it (knowing that I shouldn't have) and they gave me $13,000 for my trade in...they now have it listed on their website for $21,995 and there was NO damage to the car. I understand that they need to make a profit and they are a business but $9,000 is not just a profit...especially when they made me pay $900 on my trade in! Not to mention that BRAND NEW 2014 Rogues are going for just over $21,000!!!! I can say with confidence that I will never use their dealership again and will make sure that I left everyone I come into contact know how they do business. Taking advantage of customers is NOT good business! More
Fool me once I purchased a car and paid for the "Certification" which wasn't cheap, it was not certified, I have a "we owe" ticket for a manual and extra key, whic I purchased a car and paid for the "Certification" which wasn't cheap, it was not certified, I have a "we owe" ticket for a manual and extra key, which I have neither. I emailed the Manager and have received nothing in return. No call back, nothing. I called and texted the sales man(Tomas) numerous times to hear- "Let me check with Jose" EACH time, and NEVER heard back. Will never do business here again, even though they say I have maintenance and oil changes for the next 2 years, I won't waste my time there. I had to take it back 3 times in the first month of having it for things they "forgot" to take care of. I am tired of dealing with them, and took the "fool me once..." attitude and chalk this up to a loss. There will be no fooling me twice with this establishment. I thought it was a nice buying experience until it came to getting things they said they would get me. Sad More
This is Just Ridiculous Do Not buy from this dealership! I purchased a new car from the dealership and traded in my old one. They were suppose to pay off the car that I traded in by 08/26. It is now 09/08 and the check was never sent to the bank from my previous loan causing my back account to be debited from the previous car that I no longer even have. I am now missing $400 from my account and have to jump through hoops to get everything straightened out. This is absolutely ridiculous. A simple transaction that is made multiple of times a day at a dealership could not be taken care of properly. I called the dealership and I was suppose to have a check for the issue by 09/02 its now 09/08 my account is racking up late fees because I cannot pay bills. More

The first problem we had was they told my husband he gets a $100 incentive because he reffered me there. They took down our address, and never sent it. We took a co worker of mine(were both in the military) to look into him getting a vehicle. Right off the bat the man, I believe his name was tim, was kind of rude. My friend took the car he was interested in for a test drive, and the guy brought him inside to talk numbers. This man who worked there was sitting g in front of him on his cell phone texting (highly inappropriate) and constantly went to check on "something", for about 45minutes. They offered NO discount at all! You would think there's something that could have been done for a service member but apparently not. All together it was horrible service, and we ended up going to another dealership, and not only did my friend get his car there for a steal, I traded in my used vehicle for a brand new one for only a little more money and MUCH lower interest rate (more than half less!) The Libertyville Chevy is not worth the time, I do NOT recommend it. More

We were greeted by a Young guy named Carlos, who made us feel comfortable at the showroom and he showed us around and guided us through the available cars there. I must say that this was my best car shopping experience ever. The salesman was very informative and he was answering very question of ours patiently, respectfully and with all the professional courtesy. He is definitely an asset to the dealership. Nowadays, it commonly seen that car salesmen just don’t do enough good job and their only objective is to get money out of your wallet. But, salesman like Carlos delivers an incredible service and gives a very pleasant experience. This was the fourth car we bought from your dealership and we will be coming to your showroom for the years ahead. Regards, Sohail Hussain Cell: 847 274 5525 More
Dennis was very helpful and answered many questions that my previous Chevrolet dealer failed to explain to me. I finally felt comfortable in a dealership - like my cares and concerns actually mattered. Denn my previous Chevrolet dealer failed to explain to me. I finally felt comfortable in a dealership - like my cares and concerns actually mattered. Dennis was very friendly and personable. Additionally, I was in a rush to get back to work and Dennis assured my that I would be on my way in plenty of time. When my car wash took a little longer than necessary, he came outside to check on me while I was waiting for my vehicle to be returned and made an extra effort to have the porter bring me my vehicle quickly. I signed up on yelp just to let all customers or potential customers know how bad the customer service and experience I had at Libertyville Chevrolet. As a business owner I was appalled by the care potential customers know how bad the customer service and experience I had at Libertyville Chevrolet. As a business owner I was appalled by the care I had received. I encourage anyone who reads this brief statement to continue on and hear my horror story at this dealership and why you should not go near this place. My story spans 6 days which started on a Saturday (March 8th) concerning a 2013 Tahoe. I called into the store and spoke with Sarah who scheduled an appointment with Don for 5:00 PM. I drove 40 minutes from Arlington Heights to their store and was not welcomed by anyone at the front. After waiting several minutes I'm informed that the salesman Don was in another meeting but someone else could help me. In comes Anthony, who was a bit nice and tried to let me know that he could provide assistance. After 20 minutes, Anthony continues to look for the vehicle I was supposed to look at. He then informs me that the owner of the dealership decided to take the vehicle I was scheduled to look at. At this point I'm utterly confused...The owner of the dealership takes a vehicle that a customer was scheduled to look at? Luis, Anthony's boss, then comes out and tells me that they will bring the vehicle to my house on Monday (March 10th) for me to see at home around 5:30 pm. They also say it's routine practice for them to do this... and I accept the offer. Monday March 10th: I leave work early and pick my children up from child care so I can meet Anthony at my home so I can see the Tahoe. On the drive home I call Luis at Libertyville to double check our appointment and he informs me that Anthony is on PTO and the vehicle won't be arriving at my home. I tell Luis I left work early, which impacts my productivity, to see a vehicle they said would come to my house. He apologizes and says he will contact me during the week to follow up. Wednesday March 12th: As I drive home around 5:30, I decide to call Luis as I haven't heard anything from him. After several failed attempts of reaching him, he finally gets on the phone and tells me that they are getting the vehicle detailed and will try and have it to my house in the next few days. Great! ... Friday March 14th: I begin calling their dealership around 2:00 pm. and didn't have any luck getting a hold of Luis. Finally around 5:30 I manage to speak with him and he informs me that GE corporate visited their dealership today. The owner of Libertyville Chevrolet was schmoozing them and showing them around. As a favor to GE Corporate the owner decided to sell the Tahoe to his corporate buddy. As you can imagine, I was a bit upset. I inform Luis that I am utterly disappointed with the service I've received. Being new to the area this was a huge disappointment and I would never treat my customers like this. After voicing my concerns he offered to provide some free service to my vehicle which I politely declined. I also told him I am going on social media to inform all customers of my experience and they need to improve their internal processes dramatically. I encourage anyone who reads this never to step foot near their dealership. Highly unprofessional and utterly disappointing... If I could give it 0 stars I would. More
