Horrible. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone that I actually cared about. I found a dodge caliber that I was interested in, called the dealership and they told me that they had the car. I anyone that I actually cared about. I found a dodge caliber that I was interested in, called the dealership and they told me that they had the car. I live an hour away so my boyfriend and I took the trip after work one day. When we got there they said the car was just relocated (I called about 3 hours prier asking about the car). The sales guy said well you came all this way why not take a look at the cars, so we did. We found a Mazda cx7 that we fell in love with and bought the car the next day. Little did we no that after having the car for 4 days the engine would blow up. After two months of fighting over the phone and numerous trips back and forth someone finally decided to do something about fixing the car. They also told us that they would make 2 car payments because we did not have the car for 2 months, then when we asked about the payments they now beat around the bush and have yet to make those payments for us. We had the car for about a week after the engine was fixed and now the transmission is leaking fluid and the gears will not shift in the car so the car is now back in the shop. Liccardi told us that they will not cover this because it was a "freak accident". There customer service is awful and they never return phone calls. They argue over whose fault things are and go back on their word. This has to be the worst dealership I have ever dealt with and they should be shut down. Do yourself the favor and do not go here. Horrible. We bought a used truck, it showed a warranty online and when we got there (drove from VA)no warranty-no brake fluid, they wouldn't even put gas in the truck...now they didnt send the title, very online and when we got there (drove from VA)no warranty-no brake fluid, they wouldn't even put gas in the truck...now they didnt send the title, very shady. We are driving around with an expired temp tag, and when we called and talked to used car manager who also says that he is the general manager he is rude, obnoxious and refuses to do anything-kind of what I would have expected in New Jersey. I went to buy a used car and I met Ray. He at first was very helpful, but sure enough as soon as I came back to do the paperwork his patience went out the window. Just beacause I want to know what I'm sign very helpful, but sure enough as soon as I came back to do the paperwork his patience went out the window. Just beacause I want to know what I'm signing and ask questions dosen't mean you have to drop your professionalism and start being rude. BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU'RE SIGNING. They pretend that there was some type of miscommunication and sell you a car AS IS. More
A simple problem turned into a nightmare. We bought a brand new car and within days there was a simple mechanical problem. Fine, cars aren't perfect. (It did however take three trips to get it fixed (w brand new car and within days there was a simple mechanical problem. Fine, cars aren't perfect. (It did however take three trips to get it fixed (we hope)). However, the customer service was horrible with employees passing blame among each other, arguing with us, blaming other customers for the dirty courtesy cars, and finally the GM trying to fix things by telling us that they sell 10,000's of cars and everyone can't be happy. We are not unreasonable people. We just wanted one person in the beginning to say "I'm sorry there is a problem, we will take care of it." Not "Bob's not here, this isn't my department, it's not my fault, . . . " Has customer service left the state of NJ? I think it has at Liccardi. Me, my family, and my friends won't go there again.
