Liccardi Ford Lincoln is part of a seventy-year tradition of family owned and operated Liccardi dealerships in Central Jersey. In 1938, Salvatore Liccardi, Sr. began selling in Manville, NJ. In 1954, under the direction of Salvatore's son Clemente, the dealership moved to Plainfield, NJ. As they continued to grow, they needed more space. In 1970, Liccardi Chrysler-Plymouth moved onto Route 22 in Green Brook, NJ where they quickly became the tri-state area's largest retail Chrysler-Plymouth dealer.
The Liccardi Ford Dealership opened in Watchung, NJ in 1991 selling cars and trucks including Ford Commercial Trucks. They also rose rapidly in the ranks of New Jersey's top selling Ford Dealerships. Both dealerships sell and lease new and pre-owned vehicles. In recent years, they acquired the Lincoln, Dodge, and RAM Franchises at their Green Brook location and relocated the Lincoln Franchise to their Watchung location. They now have a combined inventory of over 400 vehicles, both locations have full Service Departments and fully stocked Parts Departments on premises.
Service is a priority at Liccardi. They have top factory trained technicians at both locations, they service ALL makes and models, and because they stock over a million dollars in parts, most services can be done the same day. Their goal is to "fix it right, the first time". You can also schedule Service Appointments online at www.liccardi.com, they also offer convenient Saturday Service hours. The Liccardi Auto Group is still family owned and operated by Clemente Liccardi's sons; Greg, Jeff and Kevin Liccardi. They all work in the Showrooms everyday and are involved in all aspects of the operations. That allows them to be in touch with their customers and their demands for selection, price and service. Absolutely terrible experience. Avoid this dealership at all costs. I brought my Ford F-150 to Liccardi Ford for a transmission issue and clearly stated that I had insurance cove Avoid this dealership at all costs. I spoke with the service manager, Harold King, who told me I needed a new transmission and an oil leak repair. I agreed, expecting the process to move forward promptly. That did not happen. A full week went by with zero communication. When I finally called, I was told the insurance adjuster had only come out the day before—something that typically happens within 24–48 hours. So clearly, my vehicle sat there for an entire week with nothing being done. From there, it only got worse. The dealership appeared to inflate pricing despite the insurance company already providing estimates. Getting any kind of update was nearly impossible—calls and texts were ignored, and the service manager was completely unresponsive and unhelpful. After a week and a half, I was told they were still “working out numbers,” now considering used parts. Let me be clear: no repairs had been started at all. My truck was just sitting in their lot the entire time. At that point, I had enough and went to pick up my vehicle—only to be charged $250 for a diagnostic that I still have not even received. To make matters worse, it’s obvious why this place has such a low rating. They have wide-open, even same-day service appointments available, while every other Ford dealership has at least a one-week wait. That should tell you everything you need to know. This place is disorganized, unprofessional, and completely lacking in communication or accountability. Save yourself the time, money, and frustration—go anywhere else. More

10am app. Arrived on time, No one greated me. Three employees sat there on their phones not even looking up. Went to check in and the receptionist told me to g Arrived on time, No one greated me. Went back out and had one of the employees check me in. Left at 10;30. Called at 12:30. was put on hold. Told they would call me back. Called again at 1:30, was told the car would have to stay till 12 the next day. I told the service manager I'm coming down to pick the car up. Put on hold again. He came back to tell me their working on it and it would be finished by 4. Finally left at 5:30 with the car. This was warrantee work changing the front shorty brake lines. I'm a mechanic. This should take app. one hr to complete. More

My stars apply to this one service experience, not the dealership as a whole. Brought my F150 in for service. Seemed to be having an electric issues with it. Missed a call from Harold in the service department at 10:02AM. Called back 23 minutes later, no answer so i left a message. Never got a call back, so I called again at 11AM...and again...and again...and again. I called a total of 8 times throughout the day, leving voice mail, messages taken by people, even asked if he could be paged. Finally spoke with him at 4PM. Nothing had been done on my truck. Wanted to ask me questions, even though I set the appointment, gave all the info when I did, reitterated it on the envelope when I dropped my key. Ended up having to leave it overnight. I was told I would get a call by 11AM the next morning. Never did. Called at 11:30, again at 12PM and finally at 2:25 I spoke with Harold who told me the car would be ready around 3PM. Without the truck for two days...I can live with that. My issue is with the lack of response to all my calls. Maybe if they were returned, I would have gotten my truck back on the first day. Bought the truck there so I decided to service it there. There are dealers closer to my house. I think they will be getting my business the next go around. More
