I had a great car buying experience! I worked with Jake Ratcliff, Tyler Woodall, and Ernie Hyatt, and it was smooth and easy! Great service! I worked with Jake Ratcliff, Tyler Woodall, and Ernie Hyatt, and it was smooth and easy! Great service! More
Stenson and Shannon did a great job of answering all my questions and being responsive in a timely manner. A very predatory experience, where they wouldn't show me any details of the loan until the very end and gave me a car with tires that were overinflated. I told all of this and more to the manager and didn any details of the loan until the very end and gave me a car with tires that were overinflated. So far, Lindsay Honda's service department is awful. I called, got a robot, left my name and number for a call back. I got a callback in about 10 minutes from a woman whose name I did not understand, ma I called, got a robot, left my name and number for a call back. I got a callback in about 10 minutes from a woman whose name I did not understand, mainly because she was breathing into the microphone which made a lot of noise. Her most outstanding trait on the phone was a complete lack of customer interaction skill. She said that they received a call from [my] number. That was it ... no "How may I help you?" or "Did you need service or status of your vehicle?". Nothing, just dead air. She was like that for everything, leaving me to drive the conversation, which might sound reasonable except that she is the service provider and (should) knows how the conversation should proceed. I asked about the price of a particular service and was told that their computers are down and she cannot look up pricing. I half expected a "Let me call you back when the computers are up again.", but that didn't happen. I called back and talked to "Z", she was able to give some pricing information even though the computers are still down. More
Overfilled oil on oil change service at previous visit. Most recent visit the service manager tried to charge for work that had not been inspected and was not necessary, he was trying to write a work order Most recent visit the service manager tried to charge for work that had not been inspected and was not necessary, he was trying to write a work order for pads and calipers again without even looking at the condition. I took the vehicle to another dealer who verified that the thinnest pad was at 40% and calipers were operating as intended. I have no use for a dealer that partakes of these ethics, I can’t imagine how many other hard working people have been taken advantage of through their service department. I will never do business with Lindsay Honda again and will share my experience with anyone looking for Honda service. I’d like to say after multiple attempts to communicate with one of the owners that they were interested in what my wife and I had to say, unfortunately all attempts were not reciprocated. Shamefully ignored. My wife said it was the worst she had even been treated at a dealership. More
We saw a Honda S2000 on my Fbook feed and decided to call this dealership, I was referred to Todd from sales, he told us they have one but not the one in the add on Fbook, when we went to see the car it was this dealership, I was referred to Todd from sales, he told us they have one but not the one in the add on Fbook, when we went to see the car it was a silver S2000 2002 with 55K miles, we met Jon Holley, the sales manager, after two days we asked for a quote and received one, we made a reasonable offer based on the market value for cars of that year, mileage and condition and we were open to start a negotiation, we never received a call or text back, they never took the time to follow up. Terrible customer service, this seems to be a cancer that is part of the Lindsay family of dealers, we had a very bad experience at their Acura dealer across the street a few years ago (2021, we ended up buying from Lexus). The good for us is that we ended up getting an S2000 from Columbus Acura and they were great to deal with, The bad thing for Lindsay Honda is that my wife is ready to switch her 2019 Pilot Elite for one of the new ones, (we actually saw a 2024 touring on the showroom) but there is no way we will be doing business at Lindsay. As a business owner myself I'll leave this here, maybe someone at this dealership can use it, "The Golden Rule of negotiating is to treat others the way you would like to be treated, This principle is based on the idea that negotiation should be a mutually beneficial process, where both parties come to an agreement that satisfy their interests". Thanks. More
Very scammy. Went to purchase a certified used vehicle and they would not budge at all on price, interest rate was higher than other dealers in the area, and they Went to purchase a certified used vehicle and they would not budge at all on price, interest rate was higher than other dealers in the area, and they wanted to extend the loan period. They wouldn’t tell me the interest rate or the final price of the car, they would only tell me the monthly payment. They also would not discuss numbers over the phone, only in person. So I wasted so much time driving there twice for nothing. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else instead. Also, my first review got taken down for not meeting “requirements”. More
Worst customer service, I strongly believed that me and my wife was racialy profiled. We had a schedule appt on 4/6/24. Another white family came in on the same day and time as a walk-in and the sales cons my wife was racialy profiled. We had a schedule appt on 4/6/24. Another white family came in on the same day and time as a walk-in and the sales consultant, Rachel decided to help them first, even though the mother insisted that we where there first and they can wait or get another sales consultant. I will never ever come back to this dealership or give them my business. More
I cannot give Lindsay Honda a good recommendation. Despite their representing themselves as a "Christian-based" company and embedding a "Jesus" commercial in the series of videos you are requested to Despite their representing themselves as a "Christian-based" company and embedding a "Jesus" commercial in the series of videos you are requested to watch when you buy a car there, they are not forthright and will take advantage of the customer wherever possible. I purchased a car with a trade-in. They maneuvered the situation in their favor, and I actually got nothing for my trade-in. Before my first payment came due, a warning message, "Emissions System Problem" displayed on the dash screen. When I contacted the salesman, the response was cold and not helpful. Several months after I bought the car, I hit a pothole and blew out the side of a tire. I called AAA, and when the service person arrived and pulled the donut spare out of my trunk, he announced that it was "busted." Again, the salesman was unwilling to call me back. While I have grounds to pursue this legally, because they are required to tell me about anything that is not usable, particularly if it has risk implications, the cost of doing so doesn't make sense. Be prepared. Once you drive out in your new/new to you car, you become invisible and customer service disappears. I am a senior female. Don't go to Lindsay Honda. More
