About a couple of y My family and I have known Alfonso Monteverde for several years now, and let me tell you, he’s NOT your typical car salesman! About a couple of years ago, my parents bought a 2017 VW Passat from Alfonso. They needed to buy a new car, but weren’t sure what to get. Alfonso walked them through the different models they were interested in, including test driving several of them. I was very impressed by his incredible patience, ethics, knowledge, business savvy, and professionalism considering how many cars my parents were looking at, and how long it took (I think grand total it took about 2 days!) before they settled on the Passat. In the end, we felt like we all knew each other for a long time, even though this was the first time we met Alfonso! This impression was so positive, that last month I went back to Lindsay VW to trade-in my 2006 Jetta (also bought from Lindsay VW), and buy a new car. The only person I wanted to buy my new car from was none other than Alfonso, because I knew I was going to get that same quality customer service that my parents got with him. Dear Lindsay Volkswagen of Sterling, Va: I would like to take the time to thank Alfonso Monteverde, the salesman at Lindsay VW in Sterling, Virginia, Dear Lindsay Volkswagen of Sterling, Va: I would like to take the time to thank Alfonso Monteverde, the salesman at Lindsay VW in Sterling, Virginia, for coming through for me in finding a hard to get automobile. I can to the dealership with high hopes of purchasing a 2018 VW Beetle model SE with all the bells and whistles. At the time of my visit, there was no such car on the lot but Alfonso said not to worry as he would look in a three hundred mile radius to see which dealer had such a model. Five days later, I was told that a Black 2018 Beetle SE model had been located and did I still want it. After I said yes, I was told that it would be ready a day later. Unfortunately, I was out of town until the following Monday, but I went back to the Lindsay dealership and filled out the necessary paperwork and got my new car. I am very excited because I don’t see that many 2018 VW Beetles around the local roads and I like the fact that it is unique. New 2019 Jetta Buying Experience was wonderful! I worked with Jousha Jay three years ago when I was looking for my first Jetta. Even though I ended up getting the car from a different dealer, Joushu I worked with Jousha Jay three years ago when I was looking for my first Jetta. Even though I ended up getting the car from a different dealer, Joushua had left an impression. That is why when it came time to end my lease, I reached out to him specifically. Over the course of the next few months, Joshua took me on a couple of test drives and continued to communicate with me over email about my preferences and time lines. Joshua was very willing to work with me to get me a car even if they did not have it in stock. He answered all my questions and concerns. I should mention that negotiating a car price is a daunting tasks for the most seasoned customers but Joshua and his manager (Marc) made it a very pleasant experience. They were straight forward with their numbers and didn't play any "games"! Once we finalized the deal, Joshua was more than happy to addresses all my concerns and requests before taking delivery. Simple things like making sure that the state inspection sticker was not crooked meant a lot to me. He was polite and courteous the whole time and never pretended to be annoyed despite my many questions. I look forward to getting a Golf GTI from Jay in the future and would highly recommend him to friends and family. More

NOT HONORABLE!!! I’ve never posted a review, but in this case I must to let car shoppers know what they’re in for if they enter Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles. I would g I’ve never posted a review, but in this case I must to let car shoppers know what they’re in for if they enter Lindsay Volkswagen of Dulles. I would give them zero stars if I could. On a Tuesday I met with Najeem Salimi the sales associate and Sean Deal the sales manager. I test drove a car at Lindsay VW. The next day Najeem texted me to gauge my interest. I responded that it was a nice car, but it was more than we wanted to spend. He said they don’t have much margin in pre-owned cars, but he met with Sean and they would drop the price from $10,800 to $10,500 before processing fee, taxes and tags. I told him still too high. On Friday Sean texted me and asked “what concessions on the price makes sense to you.” I said $10,000 to include processing fee. On Saturday afternoon Najeem called and said Sean accepted your offer, seven minutes later Sean called and told me the same. I told him we were at lunch and I’d be there within 2 hours. In my mind the deal was closed since we had a verbal contract. One hour later Najeem called and said the car sold. It was obvious to me the new purchaser was not getting the deal I was and Sean accepted the price that was more advantageous to him. Lindsay Volkswagen will never earn my business. I hope those reading this review feel the same. If not and you decide to enter this dealer, DO NOT TRUST ANYTHING THEY SAY!!!! More
