Decided to inquire anyhow and am very happy that I did. My first contact was with Simon Chu and from day one he was up front with me on the price and qualifying incentives. He confirmed all the fees and out the door price and provided me with a paper trail of it all through email. We went through the inventory and the one I wanted was in transit. I put a deposit on it right away and Simon updated me on its status daily until it came in. He reserved it and had it put aside for me immediately...which you assume all dealers do anyways BUT not true because I read reviews all the time from other dealerships where customers go pick up their vehicles they put deposits on and either the car has been sold or they have had substantial test drive miles on it!!! ...not at Lindsay...my vehicle was parked inside, detailed and only had 2 miles on it!!!...awesome and professional. Before I actually picked it up though I also mentioned I had a trade in, I made it clear that I didnt want to waste my time driving down if the trade in value was not going to work for me, Simon deferred to his manager Mark Weinstein and they both worked with me to get me a very fair price. As with any purchase, you should do your research in advance especially if its long distance and its based on the honor system but, it sure is so much easier when you deal with transparent professionals like SImon & Mark. They made every aspect of my transaction smooth, there were no surprises and in the one instance where there was a slight miscommunication in the VW financing Mark immediately stepped in and made it right. Drove 5 hours and picked up vehicle same day, paperwork was ready to go and Simon patiently stayed late on Saturday night to go over all details on the car before I drove it off the lot (which impressively he knows ALL the features of the truck) and he continually followed up with me via email and phone calls to ensure that I understand the vehicle and am pleased with the purchase...I am...,it is a sweet looking R-Line trim!. Most of all I am pleased with the honestly and friendliness of the team of Simon / Mark & Paola (Finance Mgr) that made my purchase experience great. I would definitely recommend working with any one of them and want to commend Lindsay management for establishing guidelines that obviously make them a step above other dealerships. Its no surprise why they have very good online ratings. Considering the horror stories you read about salesmen and dealerships, I wish them continued success because I left a very satisfied customer! I must say, I recently had the pleasure of purchasing a new VW Jetta from Lindsay VW under the expert guidance of Sales Associate Alfonso Monteverde. I must say, from the time I first walked in to the dealership, to driving away in my new car, Alfonso made the entire process just about as smooth and efficient as can be....despite me not being able to make up my mind on which Jetta to initially buy. No problem, what impressed me the most is the fact that Alfonso and the Lindsay team have but one goal in the end - to ensure the customer is satisfied, no matter the challenges.
