Fantastic experience. October 1, 2016 I lost my vehicle due to a transmission problem. After much research I narrowed down my next vehicle to either a Civic, Mazda 3, or Go October 1, 2016 I lost my vehicle due to a transmission problem. After much research I narrowed down my next vehicle to either a Civic, Mazda 3, or Golf. With the help of Mariya Dimitrova of Lindsay Volkswagen I was able to make that choice. Mariya was fantastic, her character and knowledge were the main draw of what brought me back to purchase my vehicle at Lindsay. Most of the dealers I went to tried pushing me to buy, despite making my intentions of research apparent; Lindsay did not. Mariya never once tried to make a sale our first meeting, and in fact helped me decide on a lower trim, more within my budget that better met my needs. Not only was she helpful in narrowing down which vehicle I wanted, but also in making the purchase itself. General Sales Manager Clinton Kliegel was also a tremendous help when making the purchase, working with Mariya and I to bring the vehicle to a threshold within my budget. In the past I have had very few good experiences with car buying, And while it was not totally stress free, Lindsay was absolutely fantastic every step of the way. Any issues or questions I've had have been resolved and answered immediately, some of my emails even received a reply past 11pm within minutes. I should also mention my first encounter with Mariya I was with my co worker, a friend I brought along as a safety net to prevent me from making bad decisions. As it turns out, he was not needed at all at Lindsay, and in fact him and I both agreed that our experience there was among the best of any dealership we had ever been to. More

Great Experience with Joshua Jay I was in search for a VW Tiguan and searched multiple states and various dealerships (and talked to lots of various car dealers) and Joshua Jay was by I was in search for a VW Tiguan and searched multiple states and various dealerships (and talked to lots of various car dealers) and Joshua Jay was by far my favorite! Also, I got a great price for my car as opposed to what I would have gotten it for in NY! He thoroughly explained everything to my boyfriend and I regarding the car and VW altogether. I'm loving my Tiguan so far so it was definitely worth the 6 hour trip each way to have great service and save money. Since I was coming from far away, I wanted to make the purchase process as quick as possible, Joshua went out of his way to ensure everything possible was complete before I even got there to make it efficient once we got there. It was my first car purchase and he made it very simple. Also, I thought the dealership was very nice and love the various things they have going on there (like manicures on wednesdays for customers that are there at a certain time! What!!! Overall, it stands out from all the other DC-Metro area dealers I've had to deal with over the last 13 years. I have had some pretty unpleasant experiences with a couple of the other well known ones and will never buy a car from them even if it's heavily discounted. This time's experience with LindsayVW was not different. In general, I think this dealer recognizes that not all customers are interested in a painfully long negotiation for incremental discounts. Even so, this purchase could have been concluded much sooner and saved their staff (and me) some time. I'll say that they were not adequately transparent about a financing clause- this should have been disclosed up front but Larry Schiro was able to remediate this in his smooth unflappable manner. The ACC and forward assist on my car failed about 200 miles out on a long drive and I had to have it fixed by another dealer who also discovered an incorrect wheel alignment. Overall yes, I'll still go back to LindsayVW for my next purchase but I'll ask a few more questions next time. More
