Buy from the Best Lindsay was not my first stop because of the distance from my home, but I wish I had saved myself alot of time and trouble and just started with them. Not only did they have the exact car I was looking for, they were BY FAR the most professional and easy to work with dealership I have ever come across. From the first phone call to walking out the door with my new (used) car, I was treated with the up most respect even though I was obviously stressed out from an earlier experience with another local dealership. Marty took the time to ensure the car I was interested in was close at hand, allowed ample time to look over the car, provided ALL of the documentation about the history and inspections done. Once we decided to buy the car we were provided a fair value on our trade in and were talked through the price of the new car. We used USAAs car buying service so the price of the car was pre-negotiated. Marty filled out various forms and Laura from finance was in to speak with us very quickly after (within 5-10 min). We went to her office, discussed our financing options, signed paper work and were done in much less time then I have ever experienced anywhere else. I cant say it enough, this dealership is the real deal. They care about you and your needs. They are just chasing the payday. That is when I found the the car I was looking for at Lindsay. The only issue was it was 400 miles away because I live in Charlotte NC. After emailing the dealer on Christmas Eve Al Singh promptly called me to discuss the car. He was extremely helpful and willing to answer any questions. We were able to work most of the financing and other details out on Christmas Eve over the phone and emails. I mention to Al that I was very concerned about making the 5.5 hr drive from Charlotte to Lindsay for a deal made over the phone, he assured me he would not waste my time and promise me things just to get me to the dealership then try and renegotiate once we were in the dealership." That is not how we do business here" he said you have my word. In fact once we had most of the deal figured out on the phone Al's biggest concern was getting us in and out of the dealership as fast as possible being we had another 5.5 hr trip home. Heck he even offered us a room at a hotel down the road if we wanted to stay the night and drive back in the AM. Any of the other dealerships I have been too are only worried about getting more money out of you, not spending money on you to make sure your happy. Man was he right, once we arrived at Lindsay Al was extremely friendly and accommodating. Once we inspected the car and went for the test drive, may I add Al was very knowledgeable about the Pre Owned Audi we were looking at even though they are a VW dealer. He brought us inside and made sure we were first on the priority list to finish up the deal and head home. Brian helped us to get the best rate possible took the extra time to lay everything out and make sure we had all the necessary info to make the best choice for us.The whole deal took roughly 1.5 hours from the time we walked in to the time we were driving home. I have purchased a lot of cars in my life but this was one of the easiest and least aggravating car buying experience my wife and I have EVER had. In fact Al called me the day after to make sure we arrived home alright and to see how we liked the car or if we had any questions or concerns that he could answer. That kind of customer service is well above any other car buying experience we have had. Well worth the drive I would recommend this dealer to anyone. Not at any time was there any pressure to make the purchase we could not be any happier with our purchase and my wife lovers her new ride! I can't say enough about Al and Brian the professionalism and comfort they both provided was bar none. We ended up only needing to go to Lindsay VW because of the great deal they were able to offer us on a 2014 certified pre-owned VW Jetta with just 11,000 miles on it. Al Singh from Volkswagen helped us find the perfect deal to fit our needs in a minimal amount of time. Al was the kindest, most professional and knowledgeable car salesperson I've ever had the experience of dealing with. He knew exactly the right car for our needs and gave us all the time we needed to ask him a million questions. He knows his inventory and everything to do with Volkswagen cars like the back of his hand. On a scale of 1-10, I give my buying experience at Lindsay Volkswagen an 11 and the same for Al. We were in and out of there in about 3 hours and that included financing and a trade in. We used Volkswagen Financing and they offered the best APR we could find by about .5%. The financing experience and paperwork couldn't have been made any easier. Brian Thomas helped us out with the financing and final paperwork. He streamlined the process and made it the most painless car purchasing experience I've ever experienced.
