Keith Smith & Tina Smith Date of Incident: April 27, 2026 Respondent Party: Lions Car Dealership (Representative: "Igor," Salesman) 1. Credit Authorization Violation On April 27, 2026, Keith and 2026 Respondent Party: Lions Car Dealership (Representative: "Igor," Salesman) 1. Credit Authorization Violation On April 27, 2026, Keith and Tina Smith arrived at Lions Car Dealership to purchase a vehicle, explicitly informing the salesman, Igor, that they had an independent pre-qualification. They gave a strict directive not to run their credit to any external lenders. Disregarding this explicit limitation, the dealership immediately distributed and "shopped" their credit profile to multiple third-party finance companies without authorization. 2. Bait-and-Switch Pricing The Smiths established a strict down payment limit of $1,500. Igor asserted that only one vehicle on the lot met this criteria—a recent trade-in with a verbally agreed-upon, flat purchase asking price of $6,000. 3. Unilateral Contract Alteration (Purchase to Lease) Relying on the explicit verbal agreement that they were entering into an "In-House Financing" purchase arrangement, the Smiths paid the $1,500 down payment and secured auto insurance on the vehicle. Igor promised to email the completed paperwork, but the dealership failed to send it immediately. 4. Discovery of Hidden Fraud Upon finally obtaining and reviewing the actual contract documents weeks later, the following material fraudulent changes were discovered: Transaction Swapped: The entire contract had been surreptitiously switched from a vehicle purchase to a Leasing Contract. Price Inflation: The vehicle's purchase price was inflated behind the scenes from the agreed $6,000 to over $10,000 on the signed documents. Hidden Fees: An undisclosed provision was inserted into the lease requiring an additional payment of $700.00 within 30 days, which had been completely concealed during day-of negotiations. 5. Present Impact As a direct result of this predatory structure, the vehicle is now at risk of being lost or repossessed. This creates severe, immediate hardship as the vehicle is an absolute necessity for traveling to critical medical and doctor appointments. When refused to pay the extortion fee of $700 car was repossessed. More
The only reason I got one stars cause you had to leave something to leave a review. Went in. They’re all happy asked about a truck went and looked at it. Yeah we can do that. Oh, it got sold here. Look at something to leave a review. Went in. They’re all happy asked about a truck went and looked at it. Yeah we can do that. Oh, it got sold here. Look at this one and by the time we went through the whole two day process, (which included collecting a thousand dollars) and I lost time at work. Then they can’t do it, because I wouldn’t lie about the down payment $15,000 instead of $1000 I actually gave completely deplorable. More
Classic bait and switch. After going through all the crap we are told the car has a rebuilt title and could not be financed. Would not recommend this place to my worst enem After going through all the crap we are told the car has a rebuilt title and could not be financed. Would not recommend this place to my worst enemy. Worst part was talking to someone over a computer screen Who was from Brazil. Not apologetic. Just trying to sell a upgrade. Something that we did not want. Complete waste of time effort and energy.
