Interesting Experience! Just purchased a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon from Lithia and had a very interesting experience. This is my second time dealing with Lithia a Just purchased a 2020 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon from Lithia and had a very interesting experience. This is my second time dealing with Lithia and actually had a very good experience with Billy Ledbetter as my salesman. It was a very easy process for each of us since mine was to be through affiliate pricing and would also be ordered versus negotiating a deal and there was no trade-in vehicle. Billy answered my questions and got the information I asked for in a time manner. So, good job by Billy and thank you for your help! Now, here is the interesting part of my experience with Lithia. When I went to close on the deal and sign the paperwork on a Sunday with Ansel, he asked if I wanted a hard copy of the paperwork or that they now offered and email copy of everything. Wanting to keep things easy, I said that he could email me everything. He told me that he would email all the paperwork right after we finished. Well, that never happened. I went back in on Monday and asked Ansel, if he had emailed everything and he said "Yes, i did it yesterday right after I left". I know that my email address was correct on the paperwork prior to signing anything, so he must have typed the wrong email address in, right? That alone is extremely concerning that all of my information just went to the wrong email - oh xxxx, not good! I expressed my concerns about this to him and he didn't seemed phased by my comment. I left and then later called Ansel back and really said that I understand mistakes can happen, but this now had me in a bind for what to do to protect my personal information that had just been sent to someone else email! He called me back, and admitted that he never sent the email on Sunday, but had chosen to directly lie to my face about it - WOW, not good when the finance guy lies about something like this! The truth would have been so much easier on all of us right from the start! Lesson learn for all: just walk out with hard copies of the purchase agreement of any vehicle. NEVER, take the chance to have something like this happen to you! Oh, my first experience with Lithia was only with the Auto Body shop when I had to use the person who hit me insurance company - not a good experience at all with poor quality and workmanship - wouldn't recommend using the Auto Body Shop! Overall, I'm excited about the Jeep but as for Lithia touching the vehicle again - I doubt it! More
