I had an appointment for 10:15am for a simple oil change. I got there at about 10 and pulled up to the service doors and an employee saw me and ignored me. The person who checked me in asked if I was staying or dropping it off and I was surprised by that question and asked how long it would be. He said an hour and a half. I was SHOCKED. He tried to justify it by saying that without an appointment it would be 3 hours and asking if they told me that on the phone when I made the appointment. Obviously not, otherwise I wouldn’t have been so surprised. That is awful customer service. I had no option but to wait.I tried to go sit in the waiting room but it was packed with everyone else getting their cars serviced and no one was socially distancing or wearing masks correctly so I had to go stand outside. I’m 32 weeks pregnant with an infant and toddler at home, I can’t afford to get sick because of poor planning on Lithia’s part. My mother drove 30 minutes just so I could sit in her car while the service department took it’s sweet time with my car. I normally would have left and gone somewhere else but this was our family car and we were leaving for Seattle the next day for a doctors appointment for our babies. The facility was good. Service representative said work would take 60 to 90 minutes and he would come and get me in the waiting area as soon as the work was done.
