OUT OF TOWN BUYERS BEWARE! !! I bought a car in December and had it shipped to where I live (SC) and 3 and 1/2 months later, I'm still unable to register my vehicle!!! My paperw !! I bought a car in December and had it shipped to where I live (SC) and 3 and 1/2 months later, I'm still unable to register my vehicle!!! My paperwork was not sent properly to my states department of motor vehicles. I have been to the DMV twice and called almost every week to see if they have received the title work... the answer has always been no... A couple of weeks ago, I received an overnight package from the dealership with the same documentation, in regards to title work, that I signed when I purchased the vehicle in December! Evidently, they had misspelled something on the paperwork, which I corrected, that was not accepted by someone, I'm not sure who, but I'm told someone. It took them 3 MONTHS to discover the correction was not acceptable and send me new paperwork. Even after I signed the new updated paperwork, my packet still had not been sent to the DMV as of today March 18th!!!!!!! Today I was informed that they had the wrong finance company in their system and that caused the issue, I'm not sure why? I have been paying my monthly installment on time, hopefully to the right people... I have bought cars in about 20 states (including another Lithia owned dealership in another state) and from the federal government. I have never experienced anything like this... It's more than a bit ridiculous. My salesperson was Jamie. He was a good salesperson, very responsive. But, he has limited information and the powers at be are not so good at communicating. I've been told, on more than one occasion, that the finance manager was going to reach out to me. I did not receive a call. A few days ago, I called and asked to speak with the finance manager. The gentleman on the phone said he was going to check and see what was going on and call me back. I did not receive a call. Today I spoke with the title work department and I was informed my documentation still has not been sent in. People, we're not talking about a few weeks or even a couple of months. It has been over three and a half months since I purchased the vehicle and I still cannot register it!!!!!!!! This is by far the worst customer service I have ever received when purchasing a vehicle from a dealership, a person or at auction... If they are not able to provide resolution soon, and I mean very soon, I will have no choice but to get my attorney involved. As I previously stated, this is beyond ridiculous. More
Chris was great and a lot of help in car finding process. Do not trust finance manager and upsell tactics, was not transparent and helpful. Do not trust finance manager and upsell tactics, was not transparent and helpful. More
I thought that when a customer drove up to the service drive that someone would come to the car. No one ever did. I know that they used to before. Did that change? Otherwise, all was good. drive that someone would come to the car. No one ever did. I know that they used to before. Did that change? Otherwise, all was good. More

An "appointment" at a service dealership guarantees a specific time slot for essential maintenance or repairs on your vehicle. Scheduling your visit ensures that skilled technicians are ready to attend specific time slot for essential maintenance or repairs on your vehicle. Scheduling your visit ensures that skilled technicians are ready to attend to your car's needs without delay. By arriving at your scheduled time, you help streamline the service process, allowing you to get back on the road quickly and confidently. Taking care of your vehicle today means fewer worries tomorrow! When I arrived at the dealership for my scheduled oil change and tire rotation appointment at 8:20 A.M., I actually got there at 8:00 A.M. However, I discovered that only one service technician was available to assist all the customers, and he seemed overwhelmed. When I informed him about my 8:20 A.M. appointment, he told me that I should expect a wait of two to three hours. Unfortunately, I hadn't made any alternate arrangements, so I decided to leave. It appears that appointment times at this dealership are either not guaranteed or not considered essential by "senior management". What steps can customers take to ensure their appointment times are respected at the dealership? Are there any policies in place to address delays or long wait times for customers with scheduled appointments? How does the dealership plan to improve service efficiency, given the overwhelming demand on its technicians? More
