I find myself at a loss for words, unsure of where to begin. The series of events I have encountered with the management at John L. Sullivan in Yuba City, Ca has been nothing short of a nightmare. Reg to begin. The series of events I have encountered with the management at John L. Sullivan in Yuba City, Ca has been nothing short of a nightmare. Regrettably, I have endured countless instances of disrespect, leaving me utterly dismayed. Moreover, the unfortunate outcome of these encounters has resulted in the prolonged absence of my work truck for an astonishing three weeks. This unfortunate situation has arisen due to the conduct of an employee in a position of power who, instead of providing exemplary service, exploits their authority to intimidate paying customers, fueled by an unwarranted personal attachment to online reviews. Allow me to shed light on the actions of Ryan Triebess, the Service Manager, who has repeatedly exhibited bullying behavior towards customers who dare to voice their dissatisfaction with the subpar service they have received. Astonishingly, Ryan took it upon himself to single me out, revealing my identity as the author of a review he deemed unfair and expressed his lack of appreciation for it. Following this unsettling revelation, he callously informed me that I should retrieve my vehicle promptly, as the dealership would not extend any further assistance despite my distressing breakdown and subsequent towing. Strangely, it took over a week before he even acknowledged the presence of my vehicle. To compound matters, he had the audacity to question whether I would fulfill my financial obligation if they were to service my truck. The sheer nerve! I want to emphasize that I have always honored my financial responsibilities, and this fact can be substantiated through the comprehensive documentation available, including text messages and email exchanges. I also have made several attempts in trying to retrieve the general managers contact information, which I was told by Ryan that he would not be giving me any of it and that he would simply forward our emails to his boss, but that’s it, which I doubt he even followed through on doing. Moreover, it is disheartening to report that the general manager has failed to respond to any of my numerous attempts to reach out for resolution. The gravity of my concerns is substantial, yet my pleas for attention have been met with silence. However, I must briefly touch upon an issue that continues to incense me to my core. My 2021 RAM 2500 Laramie 6.7l, a mere six months old at the time, was entrusted to your dealership for approximately three weeks, during which an alarming number of 57 error codes were detected. Astonishingly, upon retrieving my vehicle, I was informed that no repairs had been undertaken and that everything was supposedly in working order. How could this be? How could 57 error codes go unaddressed while the truck's performance remains abysmal? Furthermore, I regret to inform you that my truck has already experienced instances of my truck catching fire due to an electrical short within the wiring harness for the heater/defroster which is a safety concern in my opinion and I was almost burned in my attempt at extinguishing said fire. I am scared to have anyone ride in my truck with me because of this and the simple fact that this fire issue has not been corrected and I still to this day am having to deal with it with zero help at all from the selling dealer. Also, I have had engine failure, requiring the replacement of critical components such as the PCM and other electrical parts on two separate occasions. Most recently, while driving on the freeway, all warning lights illuminated, and the vehicle came to a complete halt, leaving me stranded. Astonishingly, the dealership insists that there are no issues with my truck. More
I am penning this missive to draw your prompt attention to a critical matter. On Thursday, April 20th, 2023 at 6:30 pm, I had to engage the services of your selling dealer, John L. Sullivan CDJR Yuba City, to a critical matter. On Thursday, April 20th, 2023 at 6:30 pm, I had to engage the services of your selling dealer, John L. Sullivan CDJR Yuba City, California as my vehicle had several warning lights illuminated, indicating an impending danger to the vehicle's safety and integrity. The vehicle had suffered a fire outbreak and multiple electrical malfunctions since its purchase. However, the dealership has repudiated any responsibility for these anomalies. The situation has been further exacerbated by the bellicose, confrontational, and contentious conduct of the John L. Sullivan staff. Despite my repeated attempts to seek their aid, my vehicle has remained stagnant in their service department lot for a week now without any form of assistance. Moreover, I have observed that the vehicle's odometer now displays over a million miles logged, whereas previously, it had only 114,000 miles. This discrepancy is highly disconcerting, and I would like a comprehensive investigation into this issue. I would like to emphasize that I am currently in the middle of groundwork and trying to get my rice planted before the end of the month, and my vehicle holds all my tools for my job, which is also the primary source of income for me and my family. Unfortunately, due to the negligence of your service manager and service staff, I am unable to complete certain vital tasks. I implore you to take swift action to redress this situation as I am currently facing significant difficulties as a result of John L. Sullivan's disregard and lack of assistance. I expect a prompt response from you regarding this matter. More
We talked to Jeremy over the phone about buying a truck advertised on their website. He told us the truck was available and that we could meet the next day to purchase it. We drove for 3 hours to get ther advertised on their website. He told us the truck was available and that we could meet the next day to purchase it. We drove for 3 hours to get there and asked to see him. We were told that it's his day off and the truck was sold the day before. They then offer me to buy a more expensive one. This is one of their schemes to lure buyers by advertising nonexistent vehicle. Don't do business with them!!! More

My vehicle has been in the shop for nearly one month and the shop cannot communicate with me as to when my vehicle will be don by any means possible. My vehicle has been in the shop for nearly one month and the shop cannot communicate with me as to when my vehicle will be done. I am unable to ever get in contact with dealership unless I physically go into the store. I have waited on hold with their service department for over 45 minutes at a time trying to get someone to at least answer my phone call only for them to say they will call me back when they are not busy. Do not take your vehicle here. More
I was able to get my oil changed but I had a appointment at 130. They did not even start on my truck until 245 and did not even notify me that they were running behind to give me a choice to come back or re at 130. I am suprised to see that someone here had the exact same experience that I did with Yuba City Dodge. I was promised a negotiable price on a pre-owned car they had listed on their website. I drove 3 hours fr experience that I did with Yuba City Dodge. I was promised a negotiable price on a pre-owned car they had listed on their website. I drove 3 hours from the bay area. Was promised the price I pay for the car rental would be reimbursed. Was told there was no option to NOT buy an extended warranty. And if I didn’t buy there gap insurance my APR would go up. I called the bank the next week to confirm in writing that they had no such condition about GAP and extended warranty. They promised me a full tank of gas and as I was leaving I realized there was half a tank. I had to call them 5 times before I could speak to a finance person to cancel the GAP and Extended warranty. When I asked if the process can be done over phone, they said I had to sign documents in person. I drove another 3 hours to meet them in person and all I was asked to do is sign 1 paper that could've been done online. I have to pay 4 months of extra payments for something I didn't ask for in the first place. Wish the finance department is more transparent. More
