They tried to brush it off as a "miscommunication" and claimed the salesperson "misspoke," which is a classic, greasy dealership tactic to lock you into a deal and then jack up the price once you're emotionally invested. > To make matters worse, when we came in on Saturday, they completely hid the fact that the vehicle had an open manufacturer recall on it. If I hadn't pulled the Carfax report myself, they probably would have let us drive off without a word. > When I pushed for accountability and asked why the price magically jumped $3,000, the General Manager came out.
