Taking the hassle out of buying a car I couldn't have presented Max (Erickson) with a more complicated case: A 2002 Lexus titled to my company in Pennsylvania to be traded in for a Toyota I couldn't have presented Max (Erickson) with a more complicated case: A 2002 Lexus titled to my company in Pennsylvania to be traded in for a Toyota Highlander Hybrid. My residence is Cody, Wy, I don;t own a house, but rent from my daughter. Phone conversation between Max and Marco (CFO of my company, but I am retired), about whether to buy or lease, That was the easy part. Insurance policy in Pennsylvania to be canceled, how to find another in Wyoming who could rush the transaction so that I could drive back to Cody. Problem solved: old insurance carrier worked out something with one in Wyoming, but I listed my daughter and son in law as potential drivers. Search reveals two claims on their insurance. Both, fortunately turned out to be minor parking lot mishaps by shopping carts or rocks, but it took time to locate the guilty parties to explain their mishaps. I returned to Cody, picked up my grandson who was ecstatic with the new car, his own adjustable back seat and window shades, "'like a limousine" he said. My daughter in Pittsburgh was surprised that I could actually buy a car all by myself. She is, I think, jealous of my Hybrid. More
