Took twice as long as advised it would take. We arrived early, but was told they could get us in as they had space. Arrived at about 12:40. I was advised 1 hour for service and wash Found tires to be low on tread, but all else fine. Nearly 2 hours later, had to ask when the vehicle would be done. Recall work had been completed, car not washed, but waiting to get prices on tires. Seemed like it was more about selling me something than taking care of the recall and car wash in the specified time. I do not know the names of the staff I dealt with. I will not return unless it is recall related. More

Service review I thought the service with the car was fine but I was disappointed that I had to wait a little over an hour for a simple oil change with no rotation o I thought the service with the car was fine but I was disappointed that I had to wait a little over an hour for a simple oil change with no rotation of tires. That's why I made an appointment and didn't do a "walk in". Since it took nearly twice that long in August (August visit DID include rotation of tires) I thought I would skip the free car wash so I would get out of there sooner. Strangely, I went to the south side of the Lithia complex to have our other car serviced a couple days before that. It was so incredibly fast I couldn't believe it! 20 minutes TOPS! More

Lithia Volkswagon of Des Moines I would have to express the service that they offered me was exceptional, but I would have to disagree on the paper work end of it, i felt that i was I would have to express the service that they offered me was exceptional, but I would have to disagree on the paper work end of it, i felt that i was rushed through a lot of things and alls they wanted was the sale. Some request I had were planned, for example full tank of gas, and 300 dollars knocked of my car payment, once the paper work was ran up none of these two planned ideas, instead they put the paper work back to the same listing amount and still sold me the car for asking price. More

It was past closing time so I understand, but that wasn’t my fault. The customers in front of me took forever. Wish I would have gotten more for my trade in , but that kind of stuff is common. Multiple inquiries into my credit occurred though, which I get was unnecessary. That negatively effected my credit score. Very nice dealership inside though with decent amenities. Overall decent experience with the exceptions of the rushed paperwork and credit inquiries. More

Not a fan so far Went in for my first scheduled oil change since I bought into the oil changes for life package on my car. Schedule was 3 weeks out, that's most dealerships, but in addition to a 45+ minute wait first thing in the morning, I'm already considering forgoing the value for a small oil change shop. The rep who talked to me offered additional services which is normal, but offered a nitro tire fill, even though I have green stem caps on. I bought the caps because I was told by the sales rep that they already had nitro in them, and had it refilled since then. Between the car allegedly being sold with it and now I have green caps, I don't know why it would have been offered. The worst part was that I could see my car get parked outside, and it sat there for 5-10 minutes while I stood near the service desk waiting for the rep to come back. I'm disappointed to say the least. More
