Lack of Customer Service My first experience was to drop off my Touareg for an regular maintenance. I was told it would take 2 hours. 3.5 hours after getting there I still was My first experience was to drop off my Touareg for an regular maintenance. I was told it would take 2 hours. 3.5 hours after getting there I still was waiting with no one giving me updates at all as to why it was taking so long. My second experience was again with the Touareg to have a valve gasket/intake manifold replacement. I had to call in 6 different times and leave 3 messages as to why I was trying to book an appointment. FINALLY I was able to speak with someone and I was told they didn't have anything available for 2 weeks and that it would be a 4-5 hour repair. I arrived for my appointment 1 hour early to drop off my car and didn't hear anything for over 7.5 hours. I finally got a call and the service rep stuttered and stumbled their way through informing me that they lost my service sheet and didn't start work at all. Then I was informed the part they ordered was warped and they couldn't perform the repair. Then he proceeded to delightfully inform me that while they weren't able to do the first repair there were some "things" that were noticed on this one that apparently they hadn't seen on the prior inspection only one month prior. I received an apathetic apology and when I questioned further I was confronted with stark reply. I was offered no discount or help in rebooking an appointment. When I arrived to pick up my car no one came to apologize or even said a word to me when the vehicle was pulled into the service area. Needless to say, very incompetent service and unappreciative of their customers. More
