I had one of the worst car buying experiences of my life at Lodi Toyota. I was told my vehicle was still in the “build phase” but forced to pay for dealer add-ons I didn’t want. I was required to leave a a large deposit, with a promise the check wouldn’t be cashed until the car arrived. It was cashed three days later. I was promised updates throughout the build and shipping process, but never received a single call until the day the car arrived. Then, within minutes, my wife was called and told the car wasn’t there and wouldn’t arrive for days. The vehicle was already on the lot—they lied. When I asked to speak with the manager, I was given a salesperson who repeatedly lied and claimed to be the manager. At that point, I removed the warranty and maintenance packages I had initially agreed to, as I no longer trusted the dealership. This dealership lied to me and my wife multiple times, broke promises, and mishandled my money. Their idea of an apology was offering to fill my gas tank—completely insulting after everything they put us through. I will never do business here again and strongly warn others to avoid Lodi Toyota. If anyone is looking into buying a car go to Lodi Toyota and ask for Luay Bouri. Luay was very helpful in helping me find a car that I wanted. His knowledge, patience. and professionalism made the whole pro and ask for Luay Bouri. Luay was very helpful in helping me find a car that I wanted. I had my tire patched back in august 8th and ever since then the tire has been leaking about 2 psi every 2 weeks, they very clearly messed up patching my tire and now they refuse to take accountability and then the tire has been leaking about 2 psi every 2 weeks, they very clearly messed up patching my tire and now they refuse to take accountability and replace my tire they also told me they no longer repair flat tires. I was not made aware of this when i came in the for the first time to get my tire patched so this came as a shock to me, i have filed a complaint to bar and i will not be coming back for any tire related services. Don't trust the guy Frank. He will use you to negotiate markup for other clients. He enjoys creating price war between clients. Straight coming from parking lot he came and told car is sold. We make 80 miles round trip for nothing, he started asking if i can book you for cars coming after 1-2 months. Bottom line is that he used me as the backup to negotiate more markup price with previous guy. First thing first, if government is so much worried about inflection, make Markups illegal instead of just simply raising interest rates. Fix the price gauging issue and you won't have inflation problem. More
Came in for a car. Internet was down so they couldn't sell it to me. So I came in again and again. They promised me the car. Ended up selling it to someone else. Baught lithium lifetime oil change $650+ and now they’re not honoring it! They’re saying I have to go to Elkgrove to get my oil changed…. I live in Stockton. I called this dealership directly, they made me an appointment. I drove 45 minutes and will drive 45 minutes home because after I pulled in, they informed me that they are no longer Lithia and cannot accept my car. I spent a day off and $50 in gas when a phone call, text, email, or letter would have been helpful. They could have canceled in advance or offered a gas card for wasting my day, or even said sorry. None of that happened. Do not service your vehicle here. More
